LATE AVAILABILITY AUGUST 22nd - Sept 1st. This hi-spec loft apartment is on the 4th floor of this charismatic Old Town Nicoise building beneath exposed rafters. The crooked staircase is a trip back in time and testament to the character of the building. The apartment, in contrast, is a vast bright and airy space that has a loft style feel to it with its open plan layout and soaring ceilings. An entrance hallway leads off into two bedrooms left and right before opening out into the large living space. The apartment is decorated beautifully in a modern style that pays compliment to traditional Provencal style while giving it a contemporary edge. The large living room is has a comfortable seating area with 2 large leather sofas, a 42' HDMI LCD flat TV with SKY+ HD, HD DVD player, home cinema surround sound and a Wii. A steel breakfast bar complements a large gas fired stove and there is a dining table that seats 8 diners with ease. I

The Old Town of Nice has an unending array of cute bars and restaurants, it's famous preserved medieval architecture and incredible atmosphere also makes this the most fun and interesting destination on the Riviera. Being only 5Kms from Nice airport means that you are on holiday 20 minutes after you step outside the airport. The Old Nice apartment is only 120 metres from the beach, and is surrounded by literally thousands of restaurants, shops, and historic buildings. The bus station is 200m from the apartment from where you can explore the Riviera in any direction for only €1 per trip. The modern boutiques and international fashion stores are only a short 200m away, taking you across the beautiful classical square of Place Massena and its gigantic fountains into the modern shopping street of Jean Medicin. This Old Nice loft apartment is in the ultimate location, it is in the centre of the action, and is really a fantastic place to stay.

The Kitchen: The kitchen is arranged in a unique layout split over two rooms. An impressive gas fired stove for cooking and a contemporary steel topped breakfast bar with iron stools add flavour to the vast living space and dining area while the more practical elements of the cuisine are located in a smaller room off the main living space. In here you will find an excellently equipped kitchen with tiled surfaces for cleanliness, shelves holding an array of implements including a toaster, juicer, electric kettle and microwave coffee, matching delph and glassware. A dishwasher and washing machine complete the line up.

The large living room: The large bright open plan living area has two large leather sofas arranged around a 42' flat screen TV with home cinema surround sound, HD DVD player and a complete Sky+ HD TV package for all the English language channels and beyond. There is also a Wii gaming console. This is a room for relaxing in but also suits the social layout of the open plan living area. The dining area is part of the large open plan living area. With vast floor space and towering ceilings it constitutes a room of it's own with ample space for 8 diners in absolute comfort. The apartment comes equipped with matching china service and glassware if you are entertaining and candelabra for ambient lighting mood.

I recently stayed in this loft in Nice for a week and really liked it. the apartment is well stocked with fun stuff, even Sky Movies and a Wii console, a great sound system and lots of space.

Best of all about this apartment is that it is really in the heart of Old Nice and we were only seconds from everywhere.

My girlfriend would have preferred a lift, but I found that the medieval stairs were very interesting.
