Erica's apartment is in a modern building in a quiet cul de sac, on the first floor, with lift. Living room has large windows and door leading onto a balcony. Recently refurbished, there is a newly fitted bathroom and kitchen. There is a double bed room, and a dressing room with a single bed. A single sofabed in the living room. WI-FI, bed linen, towels etc included, telephone calls will be charged at cost if significant. Free secure parking 100 meters away may be available, please enquire at time of booking. Raeburn Place is just 50 meters where you will find all the shops, bars and restaurants you may need, as well as buses every 10 minutes to the city centre. Princes Street is a 15 minute walk through the New Town. The Royal Botanic Gardens are 1/2 mile away and the nearby water of Leith Walkway leads you to the Dean Gallery, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and Murreyfield Stadium. The Royal Mile, with Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood house are 30 minutes walk.

Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, has a lot to offer to the visitor the whole year round, with Art Galleries, theatres, shopping, and gardens. In August we have the Fringe and International Festivals, the Book and Jazz Festivals, as well as the Military Tattoo. Over Christmas and New Year the city is full of Christmas markets, torchlight parades, street parties and fireworks. The architecture of the New Town is world class, that of the Royal Mile and Castle is as 'olde worlde' as it gets. The new Parliament building is controversial, built beside Holyrood Palace and Arthur's Seat. The royal yacht Britannia is also worth a visit. Stockbridge is a lively, cosmopolitan part of the city centre, full of good quality restaurants and bars, There is a wide range of shops, from the simple grocery store to delicatessen, bespoke jewellers, Starbucks ,Nero's and numerous other cafes, within easy reach along Raeburn Place, which is just 50 yards round the corner from the apartment

We spent 3 nights at Erica's apartment and are both very happy with the place - it's conveniently situated in Stockbridge with shops and restaurant nearby, yet the apartment is extremely quiet with no traffic noise etc. The apartment has everything you would require for a short or long stay, with the bonus of a car parking space, a definite requirement in Edinburgh! Johan is a wonderful host and we would not hesitate to return there when we're next in Edinburgh - at the price he charges, it certainly beats staying in a hotel! Thanks, Jill and Johan.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for four ppl for a weekend. Nice kitchenette with tea/coffee/sugar supplied. Owner was friendly and welcoming. About 10 minute walk from city centre. I would recommend to a friend.

I would recommend this flat to anyone!

This charming and incredibly convenient flat is the perfect base for your stay in Edinburgh. It is within walking distance (15 minutes) of the center of town or a very quick bus ride. We were greeted by Johan who provided us with tour information, bus schedules and everything we needed to know about the Stockbridge area where we were located. The flat was spotless and is equipped with everything you need for any length of stay. The flat is advertised as one bedroom but there are actually two, a smaller one with a single bed and then the larger with a double bed. The street where the flat is located has everything from pubs, shops, cheese shops (my husband's favorite!), markets, a laundry (although there is a washing machine in the flat,) a Starbucks up the street and a bus stop less than 50 yards from the front door. You can walk to the Botanical Gardens from the flat. We had a problem with the internet connection and within two days Johan had replaced it with a new and faster one. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this flat and how welcome we felt while we were there. Would we go back? Absolutely, we intend to return next year. Would I recommend it? We have, to many people.
