Photos and Description of this Gale holiday villa Luxury new villa with 2 beds/2 living areas sleeping 6/7. Gardens & Pool.

Villa Oceano (D) has been completed for 2009 and is set in a stylish development of 5 villas surrounded by lovely gardens. It has 2 double bedrooms both with en-suites and 2 large living areas. On the 1st floor is a large open-plan fully fitted kitchen & living room, with full length patio doors giving access to the balcony. Here you will also find the TV, DVD & stereo. The master suite is also on the 1st floor and has access onto the balcony. On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite and the second living area which is fitted with two sofa beds there is an additional shower & toilet next to this area. Both these rooms have patio doors onto a large sun terrace with BBQ facilities. As you can see in the photos the villa looks out onto beautiful gardens and is south facing for lots of sun. The pool and gardens are shared with the other villas.

Nearest Airport: Faro at 40 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 500.0 Metres

While the villa feels secluded being off the road and in peaceful gardens it is well serviced for those wishing not to have a car. The 3 fantastic beaches of San Lorenco, Gale and Salgados are all within 10 mins walk. The blue flag beach at Gale is one of the prettiest, safest beaches of Algarve and has great restaurants from which to watch the sunset. The 2 local supermarkets and a number of bars and restaurants are a 5 min walk. Albufeira town is 6km away (there is a bus service from the road outside the villa), with narrow cobbled streets and old fisherman's houses and numerous restaurants, bars and clubs. Guia is 5km and is famous for restaurants specialising in chicken piri piri. Venturing inland you will find the traditional white-washed walls of Algarve’s old towns and villages. Algarve Shopping the largest shopping complex in the region is a 10 mins drive, with Cinema & Bowling. Salgados Golf Course is 5mins drive and Algarve's many other world-class courses are within 30mins

Additional information about rental rates

  • To secure a booking a 25% deposit will be required along with a signed and returned booking form. The balance and an additional £200 refundable security deposit is required six weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit will be returned within 14 days providing there are no damage or breakages reported by our property management company.
  • For multiple week stays there will be a maid service with linen & towel change on Saturdays. Additional cleaning mid-week can be arranged at an extra charge. We do not charge a cleaning fee but we do expect the villa to be returned in the same state as it is found. If this is not the case we reserve the right to charge a fee if excess cleaning is required.
  • Air conditioning is included in the rental price

Transfers and Car Hire: We can arrange transfers from faro airport it takes 40 minutes and costs €40 one-way for 2- 4 people & then up to 7 people is €55 (this is a group price not per person!). Car hire can also be recommended from faro or local to the villa.

Cot and Highchair hire: Cot hire is €20 per week & highchair hire is €10 per week. Please mention this at the time of booking so we can arrange with the management company.

We were the first to stay at this villa, it was very clean, had everything you would need. I would definatley recommend it to family and friends.

We stayed there for a week, wish we had stayed for longer now!

Beach and supermarket are walking distance, we hired a car for the last three days to get around. Cabs are readily available from near the villa.

Nearby there are a few places to eat including a indian, nice food little expensive compared to home. JK's run by a family, very friendly people, food not to bad. View bar, nice food except for the chicken in a veg lasagne.

Booking the villa was very easy, the owner very friendly. Management of the villa good too, the AC was not working for three days, an engineer was called and problem was solved in a few hours.

I'll be staying here again.

Very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend property, or indeed it's sister villa Oceano E. Exceedingly well equipped, pristine, and near brand new villa. Air conditioning added to chill out factor especially after heat of typical summer's day. Quiet area, but walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. The Apolonia supermarket has fabulous range including popular English/ french/ german brands. Transfers efficient and easy. Management company helpful, and can arrange pick ups for days out, or car hire for example. Gale itself has pleasant sandy beach with pedalos, waterskiing and beach bars/ restaurants. Would recomment the newest beach bar /rest Pedras Amarales, and also the Indian Restaurant Karahi (Val de Parra),both walking distance. Attractions nearby, Zoomarine & Fiesa (sand sculpture), worth a visit. Also cove type beaches e.g. Castelo, Lourenco (20mins walk), both with beach bar & restaurant.
