A beautiful brand new fully Air Conditioned apartment, which comes furnished to an extremely high standard. The apartment is in a fabulous quiet location, near to Tomb of the Kings. It is also very close to a large selection of Pubs and sandy blue flag beach which is approximately ten minutes walk. The exclusivity of theapartment and complex means it benefits from two main pools with Jacuzzi, pool showers, plus a children's pool. There is also an indoor gym which offers free usage. Paphos area itself offers a variety of activities from three golf courses, water park for the small and big kids! to karting, relaxing on the beach to skiing or walking in the Troodos mountains. Paphos is a world heritage site and contains a wealth of archaeological sites. The Tomb of the Kings is located just across the road from the apartment. Wherever one treads in Paphos one comes across its glorious history which dates back thousands of years.

This fantastic holiday apartment is ideally located in the Tomb of the Kings area of Paphos, and is within walking distance of local shops, bars and restaurants, and sandy beaches. Paphos harbour area with its fishing port & tourist areas as well as Paphos old town and its many designer souvenir shops are all within 10 minutes walk. Not forgetting the fantastic night life, whether it’s a quiet meal in one of the many restaurants or a big night out on the busy bar street. The bus also takes tourists to Coral Bay with its lovely beach, bars and tavernas which is approximetly 20 minutes away. The apartment is also less than 5 minutes from a bus stop. Close to the apartment is Tomb of the Kings where the burial caves carved into the bedrock of a hill are decorated with Doric columns and capitals, dating from the 4th century BC. It is not necessary to hire a car as the proximity of the accomodation lends to most things, although should you wish to discover Cyprus's beauty may be of value

Notes: The apartment is located on the corner of the first floor and has as such has no through traffic from residents going to their apartments. A child gate can also be put in place, making it very safe and secure for young children. A welcome pack including bread, milk, tea, coffee etc is also catered for guests upon arrival. There are also the full use of deck chairs around the communal pools. History and legand: : The island of Cyprus has a fascinating cultural heritage with many historical and archaeological treasures; UNESCO includes Paphos in its world cultural heritage list. Paphos is a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus, the mythical birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite, of love and beauty. Legend has it that this is the rock from which Aphrodite mythically arose from the foams in the sea. Another legend says that if you swim around the rock three times under a full moon, you'll find true love. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital, and it is famous for the remains of the Roman Governor's palace, where extensive, fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. There are many historical places to visit in Paphos such as the Tomb of the Kings and the Paphos Odeon. Tomb of the Kings is a 5 minute walk from the apartment

Transfers to and from Apartment: Royal Seacrest is a secure complex with barrier entry for vehicles (barrier card provided). Communcal Sun Loungers and umbrellas are provided by the pools. Taxi transfers can be arranged for €30 each way. Car Hire may also be arranged, with the car being ready for you to collect at Airport, and avoid any waiting as all details and payments are completed upon arrival at the apartment. Today Paphos is a small harbor town, but in Hellenistic and Roman times it was the capital of Cyprus. Still under the spell of her Beauty goddess, the area retaining her magic has remained intact by time. It seduces its visitor with its majestic landscape, lovely coastline, historical treasures and delightful villages where tradition is still a way of life. Kept in harmony with nature are divine mediaeval monasteries, which lie peacefully in the Paphos heartland.

Other Activities including golf and Skiing: With its warm climate and distinctive landscape, Cyprus is an ideal golf destination, and there are three 18-hole championship standard courses located near by. PGA-qualified instructors are on-hand, and all feature pro shops, restaurants, bars and practice/ driving ranges. The Aphrodite Hills Course is dotted with olive and carob trees, with manicured fairways and challenging pot bunkers overlooking the sea. Practice features include three academy holes, four target green bunkers and short-game practice facilities. The Tsada Golf Course is set in the grounds of a 17th Century monastery, and the Secret Valley Golf Course is set in a scenic valley and makes the most of the surrounding rock formations. Tournaments occur throughout the year. If you are looking to go skiing in the winter months. The ski slops at Mount Olympus off the Troodos Mountains are only an hour’s drive. Snow falls up there in Jan/Feb. You could take a ski trip and a game of golf in the same day!

The Perfect Holiday

The owner did everything to reassure me as I was nervous booking through the internet, but I should not have worried. The apartment it self was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard, two big rooms, one double, which also had a safe to secure passports and money and two single beds in the other room, one main bathroom with en-suite with the main bedroom. The double bed was very comfortable and the apartment had air-conditioning that was very quiet and efficient. The owner provided a welcome pack which included tea/coffee/sugar, as well as water, milk, juice, bread and margarine. This was very much appreciated as when you go to any holiday resort, the last thing you want to do is shop for essentials. The apartment also had playstation with games, and a comfortable wooden table and chairs and on the balcony had a lovely glass table and six chairs.
The on site pool was in a lagoon style and had two Jacuzzi’s at each end which was also clean and attended to daily. The owner arranged for transfers too and from the airport and for his management team to visit us to give us some general information and tips. If I had to rate the apartment I would give it five out of five. The apartment was a five minute walk from the Tomb of the Kings and in general the bars and restaurants were very good, I would say an arrange of £30 euros for a meal for two with two drinks. The bars in the area had entertainment on most nights and some bars were slightly cheaper than others but not by much. There was a regular bus service to the Harbour which cost £1.50 one way. You could also catch the bus to Coral Bay and sunbathe on the sandy beaches, but I found this area more expensive for essentials like water etc. The Municipal beach of Paphos was quieter and just as nice. While we were there we visited the Tomb of the Kings and the mosaics were fabulously coloured and left open for all to see. We also went to the archaeological sites which were amazing. There was a bus from the Tomb of the Kings road to the local market were you could pick sliver, lace and leather goods. However this area was a little bit more expensive to have lunch, more expensive than the Harbour, didn’t mind that much as this area did feel more authentic. All in all had a fantastic holiday, and would definitely go back and stay at the same apartment; this was down to the o

Just a quick note to let you know how we got staying in your apartment---we'd give it 10 out of 10! Perfect for us in every way--loved the dual aspect from the 1st floor--i.e. eating out on the balcony overlooking the pool and garden and sitting out watching the sunset at the front (with a glass of wine!). And someone in your family must have similiar tastes with my husband ref films, as he thoroughly enjoyed watching Stargate, Startrek and the Matrix, when he wanted to cool off a bit! And we all enjoyed playing on the playstation in an evening, particularly on Buzz (which we hadn't played for years!).

The position of the apartment was perfect, quiet and private, yet close enough to the main Tomb of the Kings Road, the Harbour and the Beach when required.

So you'll have gathered, we had a fab time and will definately recommend it to our friends and family.
