See more holiday properties on www.hmj-france.com. This holiday apartment is situated in the very centre of the old town of Antibes, in the little street Rue Thuret. It is a charming and lively street with several good restaurants, cafés and small shops. From the apartment, there are only a few minutes walk to the Provencal market, the Port and the little sandy beach La Gravette. The apartment is situated on the 3rd and last floor (no lift) and has a beautiful terrace, which offers a very pleasant place to have meals or just relax in the sun. This terrace has a view over the roofs of the old town, the Fort Carré and the Port Vauban. The interior of the apartment is bright and the rooms are decorated with comfortable furniture. The living room is particularly spacious and welcoming. In addition to the main bedroom, there is a mezzanine above the living room, where are situated another little bedroom and a little bathroom.

Founded in the 4th Century BC, Antibes is today the 3rd largest city on the French Riviera, and certainly the nicest one! The imposing Fort Carré is protecting the entrance of the 'Port Vauban' harbour, where the most luxurious yachts are moored. Next to the harbour, the old town is one of the most charming and typical area of the coast to wander about, with the typical ambience of its pedestrian little streets which lead to the very lively and popular Provencal market selling local products. Encircling the old town from the sea front, medieval ramparts lead up to the Grimaldi castle (better known today as the Picasso Museum), from which you will enjoy a magnificent view over the whole bay of Nice, with the French Alps in the background. There is a wonderful atmosphere all year round in Antibes, with a particularly entertaining ambience in the summer season when the town attracts numerous visitors from all over the world.

Our stay was perfect. The apt. is large and airy with a great balcony. We used it as a base of operations for a family reunion. While only 2 of us stayed here, there were 6 sharing the facilities during the day. Agents very accommodating, professional and cheerful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I knew it was on the 3rd floor without a left so no surprise. Antibes in gorgeous and its proximity to Nice and Cannes is delightful.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
