Peacefully set In the hamlet of Dowland near Winkleigh, this delightful stone cottage with its own garden area within the wooded grounds of the owners former vicarage, is a superb base for enjoying countryside pursuits and leisure activities the Tarka trail is nearby offering miles of walking and cycling. and to the north the coast sandy beaches and good holiday resorts. Locally (1.5 Miles) there are good pubs and dining and a post office / shop On the ground floor : Open plan living and dining area with well equipped kitchen, Shower room . Utilities room seperate W.C. Double bedroom with door to terrace. First Floor: Open plan twin bedded room and lounge area with pool / snooker table and door to balcony with countryside views. Outside; own garden with patio seating area.

Peacefully set in the hamlet of Dowland, near Winkleigh this pretty detached holiday cottage with its own garden, is set in the wooded ground of a former vicarage. The villages of Iddesleigh and Dolton are within 1.5 miles, both have good hostileries and Dolton a small but well stocked store and post office It is an ideal base for touring, bird watching and cycling with the Tarka Trail nearby. There are a number of good golf courses in the area and course fishing at the lakes of Stafford Moor are within 10 minutes car ride To the North there are stunning beaches at Woolacombe and Sandymouth. and futher along the coast Bideford and Westward Hoe. To the south is the open moor land of Dartmoor National Park and its wild ponies. the Eden Project is within two hours ride. Exmoor to the north for picnics.
