White Azure is a contemporary eco friendly villa located in the Gulf of Thailand on the east coast of the island of Koh Phangan. The 4 bedroom villa is set within the lush jungle of Than Sadet overlooking the sea and bay, 300 meters from Than Sadet's sandy beaches and National Park. The house has been designed to be as open plan as possible to maximize views from all rooms and to take full advantage of the cooling sea breezes. The villa comes with staff that live onsite in a separate house and are there to enhance your holiday experience. The villa is set within 2200 square meters of landscaped tropical gardens with steps leading down to its own private rocky beach and small sandy beach area set back in the rocks. The garden has a private beach side sala with steps and handrail leading into the sea. The garden has many fruit trees including coconuts, papaya, pineapples, bananas and cashew nuts as well as a large assortment of tropical plants and flowers

Than Sadet is a national park area famous for its visits by many Thai kings and for its waterfalls within 10 minutes walk of the villa. There are 2 main beaches separated by a small peninsula within 5 minutes walk of each other. The area is off a unsealed road in fairly dense jungle with a large assortment of wildlife and rare flora and fauna. The public beach has 6 bar restaurants and the smaller beach has 1 restaurant. There is a local shop for basic supplies. There are many activities including boat trips,elephant trekking, massage, kayaking and many more. It is also perfect for doing just nothing! Tour and trekking guides can also be arranged for jungle walks to the next beach and beyond. Koh Kong island is a tiny island with about 4 trees and you can walk around in 5 minutes and is possible to kayak to from the beach in less than 20 minutes Than Sadet is a nature lovers paradise perfect for a relaxing holiday with no shortage of things to do for the more energetic.

Villa staff: The villa is fully serviced with 2 full time on site staff whom live in a separate house 40 M away from the villa, whose duties include daily villa cleaning at your convenience, with bed linen changed every 3rd day. Maintainable of villa, daily swimming pool cleaning and gardening. The Villa comes with a in house menu of dishes supplied from the local restaurant which can be ordered from the staff and delivered to the house.

Villa Manager: A on site villa manager is also available to help with local information and is available for all transfers to and from the villa and offers a chauffeur service upon request to town for supplies as well as island tours and taxi service to the full moon party and beyond.

Free fruit and vegetables: Free fruit and vegetables are available from the garden when in season. The villa is equipped with a filtered water system suitable for drinking.

Other Activities: jungle treks, full moon party, National Marine Park tour, kayaking, jet ski, massage, spa treatments

This villa was recommended to me by a friend who visited last year. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. It is more beautiful.
It has to be one of the best places in the whole of Thailand. You have a true feeling of 'getting away from it all' as it seems like it's the only place for miles and miles. But a ten minute walk through the jungle and you are at Than Sadet beach with it's bars and restaurants.
The manager and the staff were excellent - everything was superb.

Unique secluded paradise

My wife and I stayed for a week at White Azure in march 2009.The view is quite literally the most amazing I have ever experienced.We stayed in the top bedroom where the windows are so huge you can lie in bed and see the full moon reflected on the sea right in front of you.The same goes when in the infinity swimming pool & jaccuzi.The location is secluded but also handy for a beautiful waterfall & the beach with some amazing restaurants.To sum up,the week we spent here was not just a holiday,it was a unique experience which we will always remember.

fantastic luxury villa

If you are looking for a fantastic luxury villa with all modern facilities yet dream of getting away from it all White Azure certainly delivers.

With breathtaking panoramic views and infinity pool the setting is magnificent and the house a joy to stay in.

Although a very social house with open plan living it still provides everyone with the opportunity to find there own space and get away to relax in private.

We all really enjoyed our time there and reveled in the snorkeling and jungle walks as well as the fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere.

Waking up to such views really recharged all our batteries and the teenage kids loved the wild surroundings and nearby restaurant culture.

All in all I cannot recommend White Azure enough and can't wait till next year when hopefully we will come out again with more friends to enjoy it all over again!

Thank you to everyone who together made our stay so enjoyable

This villa was out of this world. I saw it from the sea when on a day trip to Thansadet waterfall and saw that it was for rent and took it for a few days. The views are amazing from everywhere. The bedrooms are spacious and a always cool and breezy. The infinity pool was deep enough to always be cool and refreshing. The owner is really friendly and helpful when we needed advice or day trips organising. The small walk to the beach is easy yet the villa still feels private and secluded. One of the most comfortable places i've stayed. A real gem and will definitely be coming back. Great value for $$$. So tranquil. Loved it!
