Day-long sunshine in this lovely 1 bedroom apt. beautifully furnished in antique and modern styles, on 3rd floor, with 3 small terraces with large wooden windows facing a park Avenue to Ciutadella, just1 block from the nearest subway station Arco de Triunfo and 15mn walk to the railway station with direct trains to the Int. Airport El Prat. Also a few minutes walk from the Shuttle Bus station del Norte with frequent connections to low-cost Girona and Reus Airport. Local shopping is just around the corner , baker's, veg, deli (100 m to Market) Just outside the door, quiet café terraces, and a variety of small restaurants. Picasso Museum is just a 5 mn walk, galleries, colourful local shops. A 10-15 mn stroll to the Barceloneta beach or Las Ramblas thru picturesque and pedestrian streets

This bright apt is in a privileged and calm area, right in the Born-Gothic district within a few steps from the unique Park Ciutadella in the heart of old town style. It may be one of the best location in the area as all spots of interest are within walking distance (Ramblas, Cathedral, Picasso Museum, Barceloneta Beach etc.) and because of its open view to green (which is rather rare in this medieval area of cobbled and narrow streets). The proximityto the main subway, railway and bus stations is certainly very convenient.

We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona, and the apartment was ideally situated for all our activities. It is adjacent to the Parc de Cituadella, within walking distance of most of central Barcelona and the nearby metro stop (Arc de Triomf) was convenient for travel to places farther out. The property was as advertised (although we thought it had a DVD player, but the lack of such was not a big deal) and certainly adequate for our family of 4. There is a beautiful view from the balconies, and we enjoyed being a part of the neighborhood life. The downside to such a central location is the potential for loud street noise. Traffic itself was not noisy, but on two of the seven nights of our stay, we were awakened by late-night revelers; however, the noise didn't last long. Also, there was major construction work on a nearby building, which began at 8 am--this served as our alarm clock. Carola, the leasing agent, provided excellent customer service; her representative was on time to greet us and close up the apartment upon our departure, and she provided several current guidebooks and maps for our use. Loved Barcelona and would return anyday!

La location est idéalement placée pour visiter Barcelone à pied, ville superbe et toujours en mouvement. Très bon accueil par la personne mandatée par le propriétaire. Propriétaire très avenant et compréhensif (notre avion a eu près de 3h de retard !)

Perfect spot, great time

The location was ideal and so central. We did not have to use public transportation. It was just as described. Restaurants, shops, internet, bike hiring, art galleries are all on the doorstep. Our kids really enjoyed the Ciudadela Park and the beach.The area was indeed very colourful!
The apartment suited our needs, we loved its decoration and its attention to details. It is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Amazing views!!
We did not use the kitchen.
The apartment certainly lives up to expectations in terms of location, immediate surroundings and what you get inside.
Our stay was just fantastic!
