Liopetri village is still quite a small traditional Cypriot village, although it has most shops, tavernas & some new bars-it has an excellent bakery with fresh bread, cakes, pastries etc.daily.There are small supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, and a butchers.Local attractions include two famous churches.The beautiful,ancient and picturesque fishing area,Potamos liopetri is a few mins drive from the village centre.Here,you can eat the best fish ,on the island,caught daily by fisherman at one of the two restuarants -there are secluded beaches here.
A few mins drive takes you to the beaches of Ayia Thekla,Landa and Nissi beach-driving past the large waterworld water park and go-kart centre ,leads into the bustling and exciting Ayia Napa resort-with its famous fish restaurants,tavernas and clubs/trendy bars.Ten mins drive leads to the family resort of Protaras with its many restaurants and bars.The villa is ideally located for exploring the nearby villages,Frenaros,Vrysulles and Sotira.
