Enjoy the constantly changing waterfront scene, right on your doorstep. The spacious one-bedroom Otter Suite opens out onto an expansive outside deck, just steps from the water's edge. You also get magnificent views of the fiord of Indian Arm and the wilderness of the coastal mountains, from inside, on the deck or in the private hot tub. The suite has a king size bed, living room with couch, complete kitchenette and dining area, office desk with computer, Wireless Internet and dedicated telephone line. We serve a continental style breakfast each morning in our dining room. You have the option of self-catering in privacy for any meals, by using your kitchenette and deck barbecue. Lockehaven, in the charming village of Deep Cove, is at the east end of North Vancouver, on Vancouver's North Shore. Deep Cove is absolutely unique and special in the Metro Vancouver area, because it looks and feels like a remote coastal village at the edge of the wilderness and yet it is only a 25 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. Lockehaven Resort is only a 15 minute walk from Gallant Avenue, the 'main street' of Deep Cove, where there are several restaurants, a live theatre, a pub, a beach with a swim raft and a park that hosts live concerts in the summer. Deep Cove is noted locally as a recreational boating centre, with a yacht club, a marina and the Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak centre, which offers rentals, lessons and tours. The sheltered waters of Deep Cove and the nearby island areas are perfect for beginners and intermediate boaters and the spectacular fiord of Indian Arm offers an extensive and scenic opportunity for more adventurous paddlers.
