This stunning luxury apartment sits in its own complex in the village Sant Antoni de Calonge, at 100 meters from the famous beaches of the Costa Brava. It is finished to a very high standard and comprehensively equipped with all modern conveniences. While the exterior of the property benefits from sunny as well as shady areas and is facing south, the interior of the apartment has been tastefully decorated and has a metropolitan feel. The underground allocated car park has space for a medium size vehicle. The pool is suitable for young children and can be seen from both the sitting room and bedroom and is communal but private to the complex. The property has central heating and air-conditioning throughout and is situated close to some excellent golf courses as well as a beautiful beach.

Calonge is a medieval village close to the sea between Palamos and St Feliu de Guixols in the north east Costa Brava region of Spain, but generally only 25mins drive from Girona airport. Wonderful sandy beaches, picturesque wooded rocky coves or snow covered Pyrenees are all within easy reach. The apartment complex lies in the lower slopes of the Gavarres range of mountains and the apartment itself has views of the communal pool.

Notes: The apartment is part of a beautiful recently constructed estate, at a very short distance from the beach. While the complex sits on the edge of the village, it is very close to the centre of a true Catalan town inviting you to do lovely evening strolls along the 3 mile long promenade with its many bars and restaurants.

For the Golfers: : There are 8 excellent championship courses and 2 par 3 courses within 40 mins drive of the property.The famous Mas Nou golf course ,with its incredible views, lies at the top of the mountain directly near the village of Calonge. Don't assume that a low handicap ensures you wont loose a few balls!!! For the less adventurous there are 7 other golf courses at normal altitude! A visit to the ever improving and expanding Empordar golf courses is essential.

Sea food and walking and Wine Tasting: : There is a fish museum in Palamos and it is next to the fish market. You can witness fishing boats coming back to port around 4pm. and un-loading their catches. You can buy their fresh fish directly from market. It really makes a great BBQ! The property is within walking distance of several well marked long and short distance footpaths through wooded hills and along the coast. Local vineyards on some of these footpaths offer wine tasting and purchasing from their cellars.

General information:: The apartment is situated near the hills of the Gavarres and overlooking the swimming pool. The nearest beach is in the village of St Antoni it just 100 meter walk away from the house. There are many water sports on offer. Many nice restaurants, bars and cafes for you to enjoy during your holiday. Tennis courts, a fantastic water (Aqua)Park, together with Go carts, and Quad biking just 5 minutes drive from the apartment. Outside dining area and a fantastic swimming pool for summer use, make for a perfect relaxing holiday. St. Antoni de Calonge is close to good road and rail links to Barcelona (1¼ hours), Girona (25 min) and Perpignan (1¼ hours) and just a few minutes walk from excellent beaches and coves at St Antoni de Calonge, Palamos, and Playa d’Aro. Daily markets are held at local towns and there are excellent shops and year round restaurants open in Playa d’Aro and Palamos.
