Semi detached, authentic cottage, recently renovated to a high standard, in a small village in the Brdy National Park with large wooded areas ideal for walking, mountain biking and winter cross country skiing. Swimming in the local lakes. Gas central heating available in winter at extra cost. Large open plan living room, kitchen: cooker with gas hob & electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dining table to seat 5, wooden floors, bath with shower, toilet. Large garden (600 square metres), bbq, outdoor seating, off road parking. Wireless WiFi. The village has a small shop & Pub. There is a shopping centre in the nearby town of Blovice (9 km), and the Pilgrimage town of Nepomuk (12 km), Plzen (30 km) with its famous brewery/museum-Pilsner Urqell. Lots of music festivals are held in Plzen over the summer. From the cottage by car Prague is only 1.5 hour drive. No Smoking allowed in the cottage. Children welcome. Babysitting service. No pets.

Car: necessary
The village has a football /volleyball pitch, small shop & Pub.There is a shopping centre in the nearby town of Blovice (9 km). Lots of music festivals are held in Plzen over the summer. Plzen has a high standard golf facility. Horse riding stables (4 km) with dressage and woodland rides, for children and advanced riders. Ideal for biking with signposted cycle routes. Evening activities in the local pubs include darts and pool. With regular country and western style guitar evenings. Prague by train/bus is 1 hour from Plzen. From the cottage by car Prague is only 1.5 hour drive. Daily bus service from London to Prague via Plzen. Frequent scheduled flights to Prague. Pickup from Plzen or Prague by arrangement. (Bikers may consider that a car is not necessary)

Beautiful location and lovely cottage

We had a very enjoyable week at the cottage in July. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The surrounding countryside is stunning and the area is very peaceful. Everything you need is in the house. It was chilly in the evening without heating but the house keeps you very cool during the day. The lawn is good for children. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to 'get away from it all'.
