Ca dell' Artista is a second and last floor facing one of Dorsoduro's most lovely canals (Rio delle Romite). It offers high ceilings with original wooden beams, great views from every window, spacious indoor space, a terrace and a small terrace facing the canal. It is composed of a spacious living room painted in a Venetian green, a dining area, an open space kitchen, a double bedroom facing a garden with en-suite bathroom with shower, a double with twins and a bathroom with a tub. A private courtyard is available at the ground floor. It is a superb apartment completely restored (work ended May 2009) to the highest standards to guarantee maximum comfort, space and pleasure.

Venice (Italian: Venezia, Venetian: Venesia or Venexia) is a city in northern Italy, the capital of the region Veneto, a population of 271,251 (census estimate January 1, 2004). Together with Padua, the city is included in the Padua-Venice Metropolitan Area (population 1,600,000). Venice has been known as the 'La Dominante', 'Serenissima', 'Queen of the Adriatic', 'City of Water', 'City of Bridges', and 'The City of Light'. It is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The city stretches across 118 small islands in the marshy Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea in northeast Italy. The saltwater lagoon stretches along the shoreline between the mouths of the Po (south) and the Piave (north) Rivers.

Beautiful apartment, Great Location, very elegant

Our family of 4 stayed here June 2009. We loved it. The apartment is immaculate, elegant, had a great view of the canal and was very spacious. Great location - easy to reach any place in Venice by foot or canal. Filippo met us (at a very inconvenient time for him) late at night. He was so nice and gracious. Our favorite meal was at Poste Vecie, which was recommended by our gondolier. Our sons loved the Naval museum.
