ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

WOW! Villa Dermawan is a JEWEL, we stayed for our honeymoon 3 weeks summer 2008,
the rooms are huge, the location is perfect, the owner is incredibly helpful and fast (we received a reply 30 seconds after booking), the staff is superb, just what you can dream of for a honeymoon. The private big pool and Jacuzzi are just fun (especially at night swimming naked). The tropical garden is something we already miss every day (thousands of scented flowers, banana and mango). At night the lights transform the villa in a fairytale. Ralph, the owner and architect has done an incredible job to make this place just paradise on Earth.
The location is perfect, just 2 minutes to the beach (we left the house every day barefoot & swimwear), there are plenty of Restaurants in walking distance (I recommend Gado Gado) and the Cocktail-sunset-bar KuDeTa became our daily hang-out place.
Ralph organised a very helpful driver and up to date car, and our excursions were just perfect (Kecak dance in Ulu Watu followed by a private grilled fish dinner with candle light at the Kendi Kuning in Nusa Dua area).
The Villa is much better in real life than in the photos, I'd suggest to Ralph that he hires a professional to get better pics.
The bed in the Master-bedroom is something unbelievable, the bed it is so big that it could easily accommodate 4 adults if necessary. (The guest bedroom is also very big) Everything in this villa gives You the sensation of luxury and very good & refined taste!!!
The Villa enjoys also the perfect silence and the 360° view from the garden day and night gives You the sensation that you 'own" the sky.
A funny note are the rabbits kept in a cage in the garden and released occasionally. It is just too fun to see the cuties chasing each other during breakfast.
Breakfast! I would rather call it Imperial Brunch, eggs, toast 1 litre tropical fresh fruit juices (per head, in one glass!), fresh croissants, javanese or Italian coffee (Illy)... and everything served with a beautiful smile from Iluh and Nyoman (the lovely house maids).
Bathrooms ! Oh my god! we will forever miss the huge shower (not to mention the giant towels ... where do you find high quality towels as big as double bed sheets?
We have been used to some of the best hotels in the World, but this place beats them all!
The WiFI and fast computer connection were the perfect addition to e-mail our wedding photos to our friends and keep contact via Skype.
