Set in a lovely, traffic-free square, the house offers charming and secluded accommodation in Benamocarra, a small, typically Spanish country town, that is convenient for both beaches and Malaga airport, and is within a 2/3 hour drive from Granada, Cordoba, and Seville. The house is newly restored and refurbished, and retains the charm of the original with all modern facilities including satellite TV. There are cool sitting areas within the house, a roof terrace, a beautiful courtyard garden, together with a modern kitchen and elegant bathrooms with each bedroom. At 5k is a large, modern shopping mall with supermarket, clothes shops etc, bowling alley and cinema and the Aquavalis water park. Ideally located for exploring nearby Nerja with the famous Caves and Balcon de Europa; fantastic local mountains and white villages of Andalucia including Frigiliana, Torrox and Competa; and nearby beach resort of Torre del Mar.

Benamocarra is a small country town close to Velez-Malaga and Torre del Mar. The area is hilly rather than mountainous, with fields of olive, almond, orange and avocado, and fine views all around. The little town is very friendly, with just a few non-Spanish residents, several small bars and restaurants, a tennis court and a large open-air swimming pool overlooking the surrounding hills. The shops in the village cater for most needs.
