Situated in a dead end path, in a very peaceful area of Rochebrune (no traffic), the Chalet Grand paradis is ideal for families that want to enjoy the best of modern comfort and the great skiing/holidaying facilities of Megeve. We are 5 min walk to the Rochebrune cable car and 800m to the village square (10min walk). The chalet offers 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bath/shower rooms and WC. For the children a huge 4 beds space is available with ensuite bathroom and separate cloakroom along with own entertainment space: TV area with DVD player, playroom etc... One extra twin is also available with own shower room. The ground floor included a large L shape sitting room and dining area (for 10) leading onto sunny west facing terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted with large hob, microwave, dishwasher, american fridge, Nespresso Coffee machine,... all one could dream of! The chalet host lots of comfortable features as such as a ski room with skiboots dryer and fitness room (spa and sauna)

The Grand Paradis is a true piece of art and modern comfort. The chalet was design by a famous architect in 1951 and was fully renovated in 2005. It offers a mix of light, architectural features (Art nouveau style) and all modern amenities you would think of! Situated 5 min walk to Rochebrune cable car, the chalet is in the middle of a small private lane where traffic and noise are reduced. it can house comfortably a group of 12 people in 5 bedrooms but is really design to cater for families with children rather than groups of adults. You will find three double bedrooms with queen size beds and ensuite bath/shower rooms all unique and cosy. The main attraction of the chalet is a wonderful children space of nearly 50m2 with 4 cabin beds (2 upper ones unsuitable for children under 6), own bathroom and separate cloakroom, and a large mezzanine with TV room and playroom. This space is fantastic and children enjoy having their privacy after a day on the slopes or hiking in the mountains.

Notes: Please note that the property is situated in a private lane where the snow is regularly removed but as in any mountain and altitude environment, we cannot guarantee that the lane will be totally accessible to any vehicles. Snow chains are advised as well as snow tyres in the winter. The garage is not accessible to large cars: it can house vehicles of the size of a medium 307 Peugeot or VW Golf. outdoor parking spaces are available for two cars in the winter, 4 in the summer.

Ski: The Rochebrune cable car and ski lift are just 5 min walk to the chalet. The chalet is situated 10 min walk (800m) from the village square. Ski passes, private ski instructor and ski lessons can be organised if instructed early enough... be aware that private instructors are in high demand in the high season and school holidays.

Golf: Megeve host a really scenic and beautiful 10 holes golf course on the mont d'arbois side of the resort. a wonderful course is also found in Chamonix 40 min drive away and many within one hour drive, in the Annecy and Evian areas.

Other Activities: spas in Megeve and thermal centre in St Gervais, golfing in Megeve and Chamonix, hiking, snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing, paragliding, swimming
