A very cool apartment in a building from the beginning of last century completely rebuilt and renovated in 2005. It has one bedroom and one living room with an American kitchen and it is always shiny as it has long windows in all of the divisions (including the bathroom). The decoration is very trendy and joyful to help you feel the true happiness of holidays. The minute you leave the door you will discover a neighborhood full of stores, restaurants and even gardens which you will surely not forget.

The apartment was very nice, with almost everything needed to make the stay (5 weeks) enjoyable and generally comfortable. Because it was very warm weather, and it, like virtually all apartments in Lisbon, was not air conditioned, we had to buy a fan. We also bought a coffee maker, but Antonio bought them from us when we left.
We really liked the neighborhood - colorful, not at all touristy, but the street is small and not well known, so it was always necessary to give taxi drivers directions. Two other drawbacks - the street lights outside the apartment were far too bright, so had to close balcony doors at night. Second, it was noisy from people, cars, kids in the street below, and there was construction 20 meters away.
One other thing - the mattresses are hard, not comfortable, and take some getting used to. Otherwise, loved the place and definitely will return again.
