Saint Raphael (Cote d'Azur). The unique Royal Suite includes the original music room, petit salon and chamber and now forms a beautiful suite of rooms, bathroom and kitchen; it is surrounded by extensive terraces. The large living music room, ornate ceilings, a marble fireplace and sculptured doors.The master bedroom is equally spacious with an alcove, a fireplace, a double bed. It has an en-suite bathroom. The second very large bedroom sleeps 3 overlooks the park. The kitchen is fitted with red granite table tops, a large fridge-freezer, gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The apartment is furnished with antiques and is ideal for two couples, although it sleeps 5. Mature children welcome. A few minutes to the town centre, stations, port, markets, shops and restaurants, miles of sandy beaches and rocky coves, golf course, sailing, horse riding and tennis. The Royal Suite, Villa Notre-Dame, St.Raphael: This unique apartment in listed Villa Notre-Dame has retained the atmosphere of the 19th century when Aristocrats used to winter on the French Riviera. It is composed of very spacious rooms : a living/music room , 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen (148 sq.m + 70 sq.m. terrace) The living/music room, with its ornate pillars and decor has very high ceilings and its 3 French windows give onto the terrace, sea, bay and marina. The equally spacious master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, murals depicting 'Ode to Spring' a marble fireplace and enjoys splendid sea views. It has a king size bed.The apartment is furnished with antiques. The bathroom and fitted kitchen have all the modern facilities : bubble bath, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. The Villa has its own secured park with exotic plants and palms trees. Parking space is available.

What to see, where to go: The town center is minutes by car with open-air markets, shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, night-clubs, a casino, cathedral, museum and cinema. Boats from the old port will take you to St.Tropez, Cannes and the islands. There are sandy beaches on one side and quiet beaches in rocky coves on the other. Sailing and underwater diving are very popular. Away from the centre, there are tennis courts, a famous golf course, riding stables, an Olympic swimming-pool, and rock climbing. Places to see : Fréjus, the adjacent Roman town, the Estérel national park, St.Tropez, Cannes, Grasse (perfumes) Nice, Monaco, the grand canyon of the Verdon and lake Ste.Croix, wine châteaux and all the hillside villages.

Golf: You will be able to play golf at the famous Golf de Valescure in St.Raphael. This golf course was created for the English community who came to spend their winters in St.Raphael.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Villa Notre Dame. While the villa is in a secluded spot, the shops and sea were pleasant 10-15 min. stroll away. The master bedroom and sitting room are gorgeous and enormous with large shuttered doors accessing an expansive terrace
which gets lots of sun. The terrace provides marvelous views of the sea and surrounds, where we enjoyed many meals. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and pleasant to use. Marie is a warm and gracious host, who made us most welcome. Her local tour/ grocery run at the beginning and the drive to Nice airport were perfect bookends to a private week in a glorious setting. We would heartily recommend this place to most anyone who wants to visit St. Raphael and the Cote D' Azur.

I've recently stay at Villa Notre Dame and my stay far exceeded my high expectations. It was wonderful in every way!! I recommend this rental to anyone looking for the ambiance of a palace, the tranquility of the best spas, and one the most beautiful sites from the terrace the French Riviera has to offer. Nothing compares to starting your day with breakfast or ending your day with a toast on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. I could go on and on. This was definitely one of my most perfect vacations .
