Blanes holiday apartment: Blanes

This property was centrally based within Blanes which at times was it's downside. It was extremely noisy at night being situated close to a nightclub and games arcade allbeit 10 floors above!. The resort is frequented with hoards of twentysomething holidaymakers who generally only come out at night causing endless noise. The apartment had no air conditioning, therfore was very hot in the evening meaning windows had to be left open which only added to the noise issues. We had small children and the balcony was an endless worry as it it very open. A small child could easily slip between the bars. The sleeping accomodation was slightly marred by a very uncomfortable foam mattress on the pull out bed. A proper sprung mattress would improve this no end. Otherwise it was well maintained, good facilities, very clean with a great view over Blanes. The shower drainage needs attention though. The apartment would be ideal for a couple or family with teenager who enjoy nightlife. We had no contact with other neighbours however one did have a huge dog which barked at every little sound, it also stunk the common corridor out! The pool area was good and very clean however it closes at 8pm so no late night dips. Shops, restaurants and beach are all close by.
