Chalet Snion is in central Morzine, just a few minutes walk from the lifts, shops and bars. It offers easy access to both Super Morzine and the Pleney lifts and (snow allowing) you can even ski down to within 20 metres of the chalet front door. Chalet Snion is currently being renovated for winter 2009/10. A spacious open-plan lounge will be filled with comfy leather sofas, a 42 inch TV and an apple TV loaded with films. You'll find a large balcony off the lounge with views of the mountains and wooden seating, perfect for an après-ski drink. On the lower level is a garden for kids to play in. A brand new kitchen will be installed, with two ovens, plenty of storage and new high-end appliances. You'll even find a sauna to relax in after a tough days skiing! A traditional chalet with a modern feel. The five bedrooms can comfortably sleep up to 12 people, with 3 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. Linen and towels are included, as is the end of week clean.

Morzine and Avoriaz are part of the Portes du Soleil area which spans across two countries, France and Switzerland. In the winter, the Portes du Soleil area links together up to 14 resorts spanning across two countries, France and Switzerland, and 650km of pistes. There is enough variety across the skiing domain to entertain both strong skiers and snowboarders during the week; while the Pleney nursery slope is the perfect place to learn. Morzine itself is a busy little Alpine town with a lively spirit. Steeped in tradition, traditional wooden chalets, slate roofs and stone foundations ensure that the village retains is character and Savoyard charm. There are none of the ugly high rises you find in some resorts!
