Bognor Regis is known as the sunniest place in England and it's true! The sun does shine here, but the British weather apart, Bognor is a lovely seaside town. It has a wide, paved prom, so it’s easy to walk along the clean blue flag beach, watching the brave souls on jet skis or kite surfers as they soar in to the air jumping the waves.
Deckchairs are available to hire and of course there are lots of places to buy your ice cream and the essential bucket and spade!
Along the sea front Waterloo Square has crazy golf and bowling. Or walk in to the town centre for a wide range of shops and restaurants.
Bognor Regis is an historic town which grew in the Georgian and early Victorian times when people wanting to escape the air of London but found Brighton too brash, came to stay and as a result there are quite a few lovely Georgian buildings.
