The 3 bedroom bay side apartment boasts spectacular views, from all bedrooms and the living area, of the stunning Mourne Mountains and beautiful Dundrum Bay. There are two king-sized bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a single bedroom and main family bathroom. The open plan living/dining area opens out onto a generous sized balcony, allowing you to enjoy the naturally relaxing, almost hypnotic, setting of this 1st floor apartment. There is a well equipped, modern kitchen including fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/drier. Within a 1 minute walk you can enjoy some of the finest restaurants in the area including a pub which has been described as “the most popular destination in the whole Mourne area for anyone who appreciates quality food.” Using this as your base, amble along the coastline, see the seals basking in the sun’s rays, embark upon climbing the encouraging tracks up the Mourne Mountains or take pleasure in making the most of the fantastic countryside on horseback.

Dundrum is a small village located on Dundrum Bay, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. This area is recognised as both an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one of the finest places on the island of Ireland to see a wonderful range of wildlife. Within 10 minutes drive there is an extensive range of activities, whatever your age or interests, including Golf at the world famous Royal County Down golf course, (a mere 5 minutes away); horse riding, both in the forests surrounding the area as well as exhilarating beach rides; and of course, with such a stunning mountain range, hill walkers are spoilt for choice. Situated in Newcastle, where in the immortal words of Percy French, 'The Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea', Royal County Down is not only a fine test of golf but has accompanying scenery that is spellbinding. Alongside the Championship Links, Royal County Down has a second course, The Annesley Links. Laid out beneath the same massive, almost menacing backdrop, the Annesley Links is nowhere near as intimidating or as formidable a challenge as the Championship Links, but then it was never intended to be. My Wife and I ,together with my daughter had a wonderful
4 days in this apartment. The location is excellent the
wonderful views from the balcony and the Mountains of
Morne do really come down to the sea. The qualityof
the furnishings was superb,,great and comfortable beds
and a lovely kitchen. There was a very hand store only
five minutes away, plus we visited a great Sea food
restaurant. We gad a rebtal car ,but there appeared to
be a good bus service to Belfast. I would certainly
reccomend this apartment to my friends.
One thing I should mention we did not have a mobile
phone, but had a BT phone card, it would have been
helpful to have had a locally restricted phone for use
in making inquiries.

I stayed at this apartment with my parents and we had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated, full of natural light and the views from the patio are spectacular. Every morning there was a seal basking on the sand prior to the tide coming in. The apartment was spotless and very well located to walk into the town for supplies or dinner. There's a Tesco's a few miles down the road in Newcastle. We found the apartment to be fully equipped and we lacked for nothing. The Mourne Seafood Cafe was excellent for dinner and highly recommended as is a hike up to the castle. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

Great apartment and location

The apartment could not have been better especially as we had just come from a week in Donegal where nothing in the apartment there worked. Coming to this apartment was a real joy, fantastic views, great location, one of the best spots we have ever stayed in.
Dundrum is also a really friendly spot the pubs are good and the fish restaurant is really good, best to book that in advance or arrive just as they open, you won't be dissapointed.

Fantastic aparment with amazing views

The photos of this apartment dont do it justice. It's very spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean.

The view over Dundrum Bay is fantastic and can't be topped.
