Modern Villa close to Narbonne, the black mountains, canal du midi and a sandy beach. Set in mature landscaped gardens, the house is on the edge of the village of Marcorignan. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside offers a tranquil holiday setting. The house sleeps 10 comfortably plus 2 babies and has many family facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. 5 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) and 2 seperate toilets. Fully equipped kitchen, large dining sitting area, Playroom with many toys, TV and DVD player together with childrens DVDs, books and games. There are a selection of bicycles(10), large trampoline (with safety net), basketball, gym equipment including treadmill, cross trainer and multi gym, table tennis and table football. The 10m x 5m pool is fitted with a safety alarm. A wide open (with a covered section) terrace provides the perfect sitting area for al fresco dining together with a built in BBQ.

The village of Marcorignan sits a short distance from the river Aude and Canal du Midi (world heritage site) in the heart of the regions wine making district. The surrounding areas are steeped in Cathar history with Bezier and Carcassonne in close proximity. The Roman town Narbonne is only 10 minutes to the south with its imposing Cathedral and market square. The Mediterranean coast line offers miles of sandy beaches. The surrounding countryside offers great opportunities for cycling and walking. It is also possible to hire barges or boats to explorer further afield on the Canal du midi. There are numerous local restaurants providing excellent local cuisine. To the south the ancient city of Perpignan is well worth a visit and a trip to the Pyrenees, Spain and Barcelona are only a couple of hours away. Marcorignan is well served by local airports, Bezier, Carcassonne and Perpignan are equal distance (about 40 minutes) and Montpellier (60 minutes) and Toulouse (90 min).
