Alkabir is a self-contained development of Moorish style houses located close to the sea and the Spanish Town of El Campello (Alicante). The Alkabir complex offers you a large swimming pool, well maintained gardens & walkways, several bars/ restaurants and a mini-market. There is a bay less than a 5 minute walk from the house. The house sleeps up to four people. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has two single beds. There is a bathroom on this floor. All linen including towels is supplied. The house has the following amenities:- Modern kitchen, large fridge-freezer, dual/fuel cooker and microwave/ grill, hair dryer, washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying area, CD player, TV/ DVD player. The roof terrace has sun loungers, and dining furniture and the patio in front of the house also has dining furniture You can access many local areas via the nearby tram link. The sea is within a 5 minute walk as are the local bars and restaurants.

Alkabir is an area located 3 kilometres north of the popular town of El Campello and 13 kms from the City of Alicante. There are many local activities within the area such as Scuba Diving, Golfing, Fishing, Volleyball, Tennis, Mini Golf etc. There are also plenty places of interest to visit such as the Busot caves, Alicante castle, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia, Mundamar, Benidorm Palace which are all within 40 minutes of the property. There are 5 local golf courses within easy access of the complex with the nearest (Bonalba) just 3 kms away. Alternatively you can relax around the large communal swimming pool or take the short journey to El Campello and sunbathe on a beautiful golden sandy blue flag beach. You can also take in the sites of the Marina and the beautiful promenade which offers you an array of cosmopolitan restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. For those of you who are less adventurous you can stay within the complex and relax at one of its bars or restaurants.

    * There is a deposit of £100, payable at the time of booking, with the full amount of rental to be paid 6 weeks prior to the holiday. The deposit will be refunded to you, providing that there are no damages or losses and any local charges have been made. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of completion of the rental.

We spent there wonderfull 9 days. It's a quiet neighborhood, few bars and restaurants nearby. It's 5 min walk to the rocky beach, and 5 minutes by car to the main beach of Campello where are thousands bars, restaurants, and shops. It's a fantastic place as a base for trips around the region. We found in the drawer hundreds of leaflets which gave us ideas where to go and what we should see there. In the house there are also interesting books, and dvd comedies. :)
The house is very nice, the only thing which could be better - it could have aircon, and could have some cleaner between bookings. Becauase when we came there, house needed to be cleaned (dust on furnitures, sand on the floor, dirty bath, etc.)
Overall, we recommend this villa for everyone. We spent there very nice time. We loved the swimming pool, it 's only few minutes walk from the house. Lee took a good care of us, showed us the house and the area. We knew that we could contact him any time. It is a lovely property and we are sure we will rent it again.

We have stayed in the house for our last 2 trips to Spain (Summer hols & easter) with 2 youg children 2 & 4 years old last trip, On site there are a couple of small friendly bars 4 resturants & a shop. Locally in the main town of El Campello there are some excellent places to eat.
The complex has a lovely communal pool wich is walled in so is great for kids.
A short stroll takes you down to a pebble beach and the "Tram station" which will take you all along the coast to the bright lights of Benidorm or the more tranquil settings of Villjoyosa or Calpe.
The complex has a real friendly village feel, and the property is well maintained and clean.The roof terrace was a real bonus as we quite often sat up there during the afternoon catching the rays while the kids had a nap. A few evenings were spent in the front patio with a barbie and a chilled wine watching the world go by
We are returning again this year
