The village is situated on the southern perimeter of the Snowdonia National Park in a conservation area surrounded by wonderful scenery with a babbling stream just outside the cottage.
Adventure Mountain is situated just outside the village and offers quad biking and rally carting as well as sheep dog trials in the warmer months when a Bistro is open. Bala is a short drive away with numerous attractions especially in the way of water sports on the lake as well as the National Whitewater Rafting Centre.
There are numerous places to visit further afield and the cottage is well situated for lakes, mountains and seaside. Snowdon itself is less than 30 minutes away by car and the coastal resorts of Llandudno Conwy and Anglesey are also within easy access. There are many possibilities for nature lovers including walking, sight- seeing or other activities in the vicinity.
Llangollen with its steam railway and horse drawn canal rides is thirty minutes drive.
