This exquisite 17th century stone cottage is ideal if you are looking for peace, tranquility and beautiful scenery. It was tastefully renovated to a high standard in 1974 and is fully detached within its own grounds containing lawn front and back, surrounded by many established and attractive trees and situated within a conservation area in the village. There is a small stream at the bottom of the front garden The accommodation is spacious and full of character suitable for up to 4 people in comfort, with extra bedding options available. Many amenities provided. The old part of the house retains its ancient wooden beams and the modern part is full of light and sense of space. There is a slate patio and terrace encircling the house offering sun for most of the day in the summer with the provision of garden furniture if required. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, electric cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher and plenty of storage space. There are 2 lounges.

The village is situated on the southern perimeter of the Snowdonia National Park in a conservation area surrounded by wonderful scenery with a babbling stream just outside the cottage. Adventure Mountain is situated just outside the village and offers quad biking and rally carting as well as sheep dog trials in the warmer months when a Bistro is open. Bala is a short drive away with numerous attractions especially in the way of water sports on the lake as well as the National Whitewater Rafting Centre. There are numerous places to visit further afield and the cottage is well situated for lakes, mountains and seaside. Snowdon itself is less than 30 minutes away by car and the coastal resorts of Llandudno Conwy and Anglesey are also within easy access. There are many possibilities for nature lovers including walking, sight- seeing or other activities in the vicinity. Llangollen with its steam railway and horse drawn canal rides is thirty minutes drive.
