Shepherds cottage, built in 1600, comprises a lounge/diner/kitchen, 2 bedrooms sleeping 2 in a double bed and 4 persons in a double and 2 single beds, with further sleeping accommodation on 2 sofa beds . The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is full central heating with radiators and constant hot water. The lounge/dining area has 2 sofas, extending dining table and chairs a flat screen TV. With free view and DVD player. The bathroom has hand basin, toilet and full size bath with shower over. Outside is a furnished terrace with a gas BBQ, loungers, parasol, table and chairs. The garden is private to the cottage and is laid mainly to lawn with mature trees giving some shade. A rotary dryer is set in the lawn for drying washing or use of the campsites dryer is included if required. All bed linen. T-towels and tablecloths are included. Personal towels are not included. All services, electric, gas etc are included.

Set just under the famous tennyson's downs it is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is ideally situated for great walks and fantastic views. The nearest beach is less than a 5 minute drive away with numerous other beaches within 5 to 15 minutes. There are many island attractions within easy reach with the 'needles' and alum bay, with its coloured sands, only a mile and a quarter from the cottage. There are various pubs (one just across the road) within an easy distance, offering local seafood and meats, and one right on the beach with spectacular sunsets. Local shops include a co-op, a Sainsbury's local and various other grocery/newsagent premises. The cottage is situated within the grounds of the owners home and campsite business, so the nearest shop for essentials is only a few steps away. If a swim in the sea is not for you there is an indoor pool and gym in the next village 5 minutes away.
