This lovely, independent, 1 bedroomed apartment is located less than 100m from the beach at Porto Alabe in the seaside Residence there. From it’s own private parking space (vital in high season) the gate leads into a garden area which then leads up a couple of steps to a lovely shady covered terrace area, with outdoor furniture and lighting this is a great place to relax, after a hard day on the beach and watch the spectacular sunsets. The door leads into a spacious kitchen/diner, the kitchen area is well equipped with large fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven. The dining area has a large table and benches. Further back the apartment has a sitting area with 2 comfy chairs and a coffee table.To the rear of the apartment is the double bedroom having a king sized bed and plenty of storage space plus the benefit of air conditioning. The bathroom has a shower.  The apartment is ideal for use all year around and offers a very quiet location during the winter months.

Just a 5 minute drive along the sea front from Bosa Marina is the sea side resort of Porto Alabe. Being built on a hillside, sloping down towards the sea, it gives the houses here wonderful sea views. The main attraction here is the wide arc of fine sandy beach which narrows as it stretches along the coast and turns into a mixture of sand and rocks. The town is slowly growing due to demand for holiday homes but the villas and houses are quite individual and this is not mass development by any means. Any property here is just a short walk from the beach, which can be reached by the many sets of steps leading down from the main road. Porto Alabe has its own mini markets, one open all year and the other during the summer months only, a couple of bars that are open all year round and a couple which, again are only open for summer and 2 pizzerias and a restaurant, open during the season. However, with a car you are in easy distance of both Bosa and many inland places of interest.

  • Prices are for the property per week, in UK pounds and include linen, towels (not beach) and cleaning. A 30% deposit is required on booking with the balance and breakage deposit due 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is a £150 breakage deposit refunded after final cleaning has taken place.
    Changeover day is flexible. Entry to the property is after 3pm and the property must be vacated by 10am to allow for cleaning.

The apartment proved to the perfect choice for us in every way. The location was spot on, a few short steps across the carpark to the beach, which was superb for sitting and soaking up the sun. We chose to visit in September and this meant the weather was still very good and the beach was virtually empty. The beach was very clean and had beautiful soft sand.
Although we chose to eat out most of the time the local shop was both well stocked and the manager was really helpful.
The apartment was very clean, well equiped and decorated to a high standard.
The information booklet was very informative and we found it invaluable. The owners recommendations for restaurants were spot on.
Da Ricardo's Restaurant and Angelino's stand out for the excellent friendly service and superb food. Would have loved to try more of the food on their menu's.
Bosa & Bosa Marina have the right balance of local shops and bars with a light touch of tourist attractions to suit visitors.
Hope to return in the future.

The apartment is located close to the beach, which is great for early morning/evening swims as the beach (and the car park directly in front) gets quite crowded during the day.
The facilities were good and the property well-maintained.
Owner's Response: The beach is not normally crowded especially for any times other than July and August. Unfortunately this is when most people go on holiday, especially if they have children and every Med beach resort is very busy during these 2 months. If you like it less crowded, please come outside the main tourist months. From 1st Sept it is a different place.

A perfect place

This is a perfect spot for two people to stay in. We also had our 1½ yer old daughter with us and she loved it. Super close to the beach and one of the better ones in the area. Far less people than on the other ones. Also a good location for daytrips to other beaches and sightes. The landlord/caretakers are excellent if you need help. I have no complints. There is just one minor thing and that is that you could wish for and that is that there were something made out of the garden.
Owner's Response: We are always glad to here people enjoyed their stay at our apartment. Being that close to the beach it is ideal for a relaxing holiday. With regards to the garden, we only acquired the apartment not long ago and haven't had time to sort it out yet but have many plans incl a large BBQ. The weather here in summer doesn't allow for planting but it is on the list of 'to do's' for Spring. Watch this space!
