Devon Valley Villa is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on a corner plot, just outside the small hamlet of Fishcross. From the property there is a fantastic view north onto the Ochil Hills and right in front of the house sits a lovely old windmill tower on parkland. This detached house has 5 bedrooms one of which is ensuite, breakfasting kitchen, a separate dining room, lounge and separate TV/games room giving great living space and making it ideal accommodation for a large family or groups of friends. The generous sized main bathroom has a luxury spa bath to relax in and there is also a downstairs cloakroom toilet. There is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property with views to the old windmill tower: patio furniture is provided to seat 9 guests. All linen, towels, electricity and heating are included in the tariff as is a small welcome pack on arrival.

A good base to visit the sights from.

On arrival we were met by the owners who were warm in their greeting and took time to explain everything about the home. Essentials were provided to start the holiday such as milk, tea & coffee. The property was as described, clean and tidy, with good views of the surrounding hills. I would certainly recommend this property, especially to those with larger families or even two families sharing.

Located within reasonable travelling distance to Glasgow and Edinburgh (about an hour). Within easy reach of local shops (Alloa) and a little further away The Thistles shopping centre at Stirling & Stirling Mills Outlet centre at Tillicoultry. Ideally situated for places to visit such as Stirling Castle and the Falkirk Wheel plus many fine hills to walk (or climb).

Would we consider going again? YES we would.
Anything need improving?
Not much. Larger families could do with two keys and I would prefer a softer bed.

The home was clean, tidy, comfortable, well appointed, spacious and conveniently situated.

Fantastic layout to house & would really suit family with teenagers. Lots of TVs, DVD's,video.

Really clean, initial extras provided like w. liquid, tea coffee, milk & sugar.
V friendly owners explained how various things worked and fully contactable if there was a problem.

Lots to do around the area including riding and golf nearby. Would definitely recommend this property though a car is essential to get the best out of the area. Many pubs/restaurants within driving distance.

The property is suitable for a wheelchair user as has wider doorways but no use if they hadn't some degree of mobility as all bedrooms upstairs.

There was no BBQ as stated in the description we had and a couple of sun loungers would have been a bonus in the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to have. There are canvas chairs, table & parasol.

Stirling is a good 15-20 mins drive away. There is a cinema, shopping centre, large supermarkets and many restaurants and clubs, and of course Stirling Castle.
Perth Leisure Centre is excellent, particularly suited to people with disabilities and staff v helpful.
