Photos and Description of this Mola di Bari holiday chateau / country house Sleeping up to 15 in 5 bedrooms furnished with family heirlooms and antiques

Ground floor: huge flag stoned drawing room (the original mill) with open fire, dining room with wood burning stoves and table setting 16, next to fully equipped kitchen, two sitting rooms, one opening onto orange grove, the other has an hidden altar behind wooden doors (was the chapel). One ensuite double room. One suite with 1 en-suite double bedroom with huge antique brass four poster + day bed with single mattress, 1 sitting room, a WC, and 1 single room (can also have an extra bed). First floor: Sitting room, large terrace, One en-suite double room with with day bed with single mattress. One en suite double/twin bedroom with dressing room with single bed. One double room with private bathroom. Outside facilities: Large natural garden and olive groves, children play area with swing, slide, seesaw and small roundabout, gazebo for outside dining for up to 20. Daily cleaning included in the price, cook and babysitting available at an extra cost. Children welcome.

Nearby are Conversano, with its Castle, the beautiful town of Polignano with its dramatic cliff top and sea grottos setting, the grottos at Castellana, Alberobello and Bari itself. Also nearby are a selection of beaches to suit all tastes, from rocky coves to stretches of golden sand. This area of Puglia is famous for its fresh produce, exceptional olive oil and gorgeous wines. An hour away are Matera, setting for the film the Passion of Christ, and slightly further the Baroque splendour of Lecce. Trani and Castel del Monte are also within an hours drive.
