This charming farmhouse is set in 1 hectare of private land with panoramic 360 degree views and terracing for alfresco dining. There is a roman ended salt water swimming pool, surrounded by fields and picturesque lakes in the distance. Alongside the farmhouse nestles a converted Maison d'amis where the owners live part of the year. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 8 but can accomodate 10 with an additional room offered on request. The farmhouse is extremely spacious and has been gently restored retaining original features with a high standard of modern comforts. There are 4 generous bedrooms, 4 doubles, with 2 en-suite shower's and a seperate bathroom. Downstairs there is a large well appointed kitchen diner, off the kitchen you will find a snug television room with TV and satellite and a selection of DVD's. The lounge and dining room are set around a magnificent floor to ceiling height entrance hall with an an open oak and stone pillar staircase.

Saint Justin is a tiny village situated in beautiful rural Gascony famous for Armangnac and Foie Gras, it is 3km from Marciac. Marciac is the Jazz centre of Southern France which hosts it's annual festival during the first two weeks of August. Toulouse is 2 hours drive away and the same drive time to Biarritz, 75 mins drive to the snow peaks of the Pyrenees. Marciac has plenty of bars and good reasonably priced restaurants, with a weekly farmers market and supermarkets. There is a fantastic public swimming pool with slides for children, and Tennis courts. The Chateau Pallane is only 10 minutes drive away with an 18 hole golf course. There is plenty to do for the more physical, horse riding, cycling, walking, paragliding, white water rafting and good skiing in the winter.

A truly special house – clearly an artist at work. Tranquil rural location. Far-reaching views over sweeping countryside. Plenty of wildlife to be spotted too – worth the special purchase of binoculars to follow the birds of prey. Many interesting places/activities to keep young children amused within easy reach by car. Marciac with its pleasing variety of good eateries only a few minutes away. Locals very friendly and hosts extremely helpful. A delightful holiday – feel very lucky to have been the first guests in A Chiro.
