Elegant living, perfect location, Admiral House is situated just a short walk from the beach and town. A shingle driveway leads to the front door of this Queen Anne style house. The spacious living room with sofa bed (making a + 2), feature fireplace, and flat screen TV + SKY & DVD/video player, has an interconnecting door through to the dining room which has seating for 12 people. You will also find a sun room with TV, SKY & DVD/video player. The kitchen is well equipped and has a gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a downstairs bedroom with twin beds and a separate cloakroom. On the first floor you will find one large double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite shower room, three twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, hand basin, WC and bidet. Outside there is a private rear garden with lawn and a sunny terrace. Patio furniture, parasol and BBQ are all provided. There is off road parking for one car + additional roadside spaces.

Closeby tourist attractions include; Snape Maltings, a centre of cultural interest based around a famous concert hall. Orford, a river village with an excelent smoke house and the interesting Orford Ness. Southwold, a cosmopolitan sea side town with well known pier, light house and town for shopping. Thorpeness, a Victorian model village with a central Mere for boating also a great golf and tennis club. A little further afield you will find Lavenham, a fantastic medieval town, Dedham, the heart of Constable country and the location of John Constable's famous Hay Wain painting, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Norwich.

Aldeburgh and the Suffolk Heritage Coast: Just a 5 - 10 minute walk will bring you to Aldeburgh's unspoilt beach and charming High Street which has changed little from Victorian times although now boasting a range of exclusive shops, high quality restaurants, art galleries and even an award winning fish and chip shop which is not to be missed! With a sailing club, golf course and tennis courts to meet the needs of the more active you will also find specialist wine shops, museum and independent cinema for those looking for a more relaxing stay. Famous for its musical connections with the composer Benjamin Britten and the tenor Peter Pears the annual Aldeburgh Festival is held at the nearby Snape Maltings. Other coastal and historical towns nearby include Southwold, Blythburgh, Dunwich, Orford and Woodbridge.

The Beach : The beach is just a 5 - 10 minute walk away. All along it you will find traditional fishermans huts selling the catch of the day. Aldeburgh beach is also famous for its scallop sculpture by Maggie Hambling. From Aldeburgh you can walk to the next village, Thorpeness where you will find an interesting Victorian model village which is centered by 'The Mere'. Here you can go boating or enjoy an ice cream at the Tea Rooms. There is a great public House, The Dolphin, which serves food as well as a new Bistro which is perfect for a light lunch.
