Charming rural villages including Barham, Akenham and Bramford provide lovely locations for country side walking and just a 4 mile journey will take you into Ipswich Town, well known for its football club, Christchurch mansion, museum and high street shopping. There is a park and ride service into Ipswich Town approximately 1.5 miles from Mockbeggars Hall in Bury Road (IP1 5QP). The historic town of Woodbridge is just a 9 mile journey east where you will find much to do especially if you have an interest in sailing and enjoy river walking and the castle town of Framlingham is just 13 miles to the north.
