The apartment sleeps 4 people and is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, by the entrance of the iconic Moorish castle perched dramatically above the city. Gourmet restaurants, arts and crafts shops, the main historic sites, public transport and the river Tejo are all steps away in this old and atmospheric neighbourhood. The capital of Portugal since 1147 when it was taken from the Moors, Lisbon is a legendary city with over 20 centuries of history. Lisbon survived the 1755 earthquake and still retains much of its original layout. One of the oldest areas of Lisbon is the Alfama. Adjacent to the Alfama are the likewise old quarters of Castelo and Mouraria, on the western and northern slopes of the hill that is crowned by St. George's Castle.

Very well maintained, clean surroundings, good owners and a pleasant stay would sum it all for a reasonable price.

Excellent transport links to downtown Lisbon.
