Photos and Description of this Gale holiday villa 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, sleeps 8 and with child safety features as standard

Situated on the beach road just 4 km west of the old fishing town of Albufiera and just a short walking distance from some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal and not far from GIUA where Cliff Richards has his home and vine yards. The villa while only built in 1985 as been totally refurbished with new beige marble tiled floors through out to give a bright and spacious atmosphere as well as bright new bathrooms and a new modern kitchen and utility room with the latest wood finished units and black granite work tops. The living room as sliding glass doors leading on to an elevated terrace where you can have breakfast with views of the sea, or in the evenings watch some fabulous sun sets or swim in the 30ft long illuminated solar heated swimming pool. For those who like to dine out the area is blessed with a fine selection of good quality restaurants and bars catering for all ages There is a wood burning stove for winter nights and air-conditioning for comfort on hot summer days.

The area has something for everyone and so many different types of beaches, including 4 blue flag and all within easy walking distance of the villa including secluded coves and fabulous cliff walks a photographers dream. All kids love the soft clean sands of Gale beach.

We are just 2km from Salgados golf course and being in Albufiera we are central to all the others, many within 10 minutes drive

A Small selection of our many letters of thanks - Your Villa met all our expectations and was in a great location for a gentle walk down to the local beaches, and most of the local restaurants were very good too. PhilI - Can’t thank you enough for all your help and advice, before and during our holiday. We've had a really fantastic fortnight and the children were in tears when it was time to go home! With thanks from the 'Smiths', 'Marshalls' and 'Grandma'!! The villa was ace, the pool was ace, the bbq was ace, the location was ace. Everyone had a really great time and its a shame we could not have stayed longer. Andy - Talking of service, Linda does you proud! Not only did she provide us with an excellent cleaning service, but her tips, advice and assistance were beyond the call of duty Richard

Holiday to remember

The holiday to the Algarve was a surprise for Chris my wife as she was celebrating her 50th birthday. We were joined by our sons and their girlfriends. Villa Margarida was exactly as described. It was immaculate both on arrival and thanks to the daily maid service. The villa was spacious and provided all we needed for our two week stay.

The information pack provided by the owner enabled us to find our way around without a car as we walked to beaches, bars and restaurants. Our sons were in heaven with a curry house, chinese restaurant and italian takeaway within walking distance. The View Bar complex with small shop and Sky Sports was particularly popular and handy. The beaches around Gale are excellent and all within a 10 to 25 minute walk. Trips to Albufiera were straightforward with pre booked taxis and quite inexpensive. The Old Town is a better bet than The Strip, for wrinklies and young couples.

Customer service was very impressive and included arranging airport transfers, taxis and the immediate replacement of a broken kettle.

The area around the villa is a peaceful residential area. we were advised before departure of a development close to the villa. We were not troubled by this during our stay at all and when completed the area will be enhanced by a modrn well presented aparthotel. All balconies (every bedroom) enjoyed extensive views of the ocean and varied skylines.

The outside amenities were a huge plus with the large, clean pool with loungers, extensive and adaptable dining furniture and a most impressive brick bbq.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa to friends and family. This was our first visit to the Algarve. We will return and would try to book Villa Margarida before anything else. Thanks Kevin (owner) you made a special surprise a very special holiday!
