This is a tranquil, nevertheless dynamic landscape in a protected natural area between the impressive coasts of Cap Sizun. This house is on a peninsula at the edge of a small settlement in very tranquil surroundings with a wonderful sandy beach which is reachable on foot. The approach to this house, finished in 2006, is through a stone garden straight into a relaxing atmosphere. The garden, at the back of the building, is surrounded by typical dry stone walls, giving a constantly exciting view of the sea. Its harmonic character is emphasised by the use of natural stone. The protective shrubs around the terrace will help you to relax in the evenings. The ineluctable game on the boules court, on an ample expanse of lawn, will make guests feel like umpires – if they have ever played boules before.

The house is in Brignéoc´h, a little village in Esquibien district, right on the coast behind Audierne. It is very private, surrounded by old stone walls, on a little rise 50 m above sea level with an almost unrestricted view of the bay of Audierne and the beach of Cabestan. From the garden to the steep coast in the south it’s approx. 200 m, and to the bathing beach in the west it’s a good 300 m. Audierne’s splendid coastal pathway as far as the impressive Pointe du Raz and its 70 m steep coast and the famous la Vieille lighthouse runs along the rocky coast beneath the garden. In the picturesque little harbour town of Audierne (4 km) you’ll find lots of shops, different kinds of restaurants and pubs, an exuberant weekly market, boat trips to Ile de Sein, sailing and diving schools etc. In the summer in the villages of Cap Sizun there’s the local festival of Noz with traditional dancing and culinary specialities.

Kurzfristig haben wir ein Haus am Atlantik gesucht, für das sich die Fahrt auch für eine Woche lohnt. Schnelle Reaktion mit Vertrag per e-Mail, sehr freundlicher Empfang vor Ort auch zu später Stunde, Top Service mit Handtüchern, Bettwäsche – einfach perfekt. Das Haus und die erhöhte Lage direkt am Meer mit einem wirklich herrlichen Strand sind schon einmalig. Frühstück und Aperitif auf der geschützten Süd-Terrasse – Entspannung pur. Zum Lesen, Grillen oder Spielen findet man im riesigen Garten mit den landes-typischen Trockenmauern immer wieder neue Ecken. Dann war es doch schade, dass es nur eine Woche war. Wir kommen so schnell wie möglich wieder.

Die Architektur, die Ausstattung und Möblierung des Hauses sind hochwertig und geschmackvoll. Die technische Ausstattung ist perfekt. Insofern liegt das Haus weit über dem Niveau des üblichen Ferienhauses. Vom Haus aus blickt man nach drei Seiten über die Heide aufs Meer. Wenige Schritte entfernt stößt man auf den Küsten-Wanderweg. Zu Fuß erreicht man in 6 Minuten einen etwa einen Kilometer langen Sandstrand in unberührter Landschaft - zum Schwimmen und Surfen geeignet.
Wer die Bretagne bereist, weiß dass hier ein kräftiger Wind bläst. Das schränkt naturgemäß die Nutzung der schönen Terrasse ein.
Wir werden den einmalig schönen Ort in guter Erinnerung halten und gerne wiederkommen.

Absoluter Traumurlaub!

Ruhig, romantisch, abgeschieden, mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit vielen liebevollen Details eingerichtet und bietet auch Hobbyköchen alle Möglichkeiten. Traumhaft ist neben dem Haus der riesige Garten mit eigener Boule-Bahn. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man nicht viel von der Gegend sieht, weil man das Grundstück nicht verlassen möchte! ;-) Kämen am liebsten sofort wieder!
