Birchwood Townhouse is located in the Old Town conservation area of Peebles, a market town of 10000 inhabitants, famous for its charm, traditions, cultural life, salmon fishing, country walks, spa, golf & biking. Its beautiful landscape has attracted poets & artists for centuries & there are numerous famous estates, museums and gardens to visit. Birchwood has all modern conveniences, is beautifully designed, with oak floors, old oak furniture & a Victorian gas fire, comfortable leather coaches. On first floor is kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room a doble bedroom. A staircase leads to a spacious attic overlooking Peebles, with one room with two beds and one room with a single bed plus a good size office space. The patio garden has a large secure garden shed to accommodate bikes, a barbeque and patio furniture. There is free street parking right outside the front door.High Street with shops, restaurants, pubs is within 3 min walk, the same is a 18-hole golf course & River Tweed.

Peebles is situated in Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful with rolling hills, oak-forests and a lot of old historic buildings.( See links ) People come from far and near to relax in Peebles.The country walks along the River Tweed is famous, so are the cycle tracks in the countryside. If you are interested infishing, there is no better place for salmon-or troutfishing than Tweed. A 18-hole golfcourse is only a few minutes from town centre. Peebles have plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes as well as museums and art galleries. Edinburgh is only 40 min.away.
