Photos and Description of this Umbertide holiday house House sleeps 5/6 and is very secluded

Ground floor consists of a large open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting area, plus a single bedroom and shower/WC/utility room with washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is well equipped and contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and cooker with gas hob and electric oven. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with bathroom (including WC) attached.There is also large landing (former entrance hall) and a huge open fireplace. In the landing area there is a new Kawai upright piano for serious pianists.On the second floor there is a twin-bed room and shower room also with WC. All the windows are fitted with traditional wooden shutters. Outside there is a big garden with a large swimming pool with a diving board. At the back of the house and overlooking the pool and the view is a covered veranda which is just right of outdoor eating. A barbecue is also available.

A beautiful traditional farmhouse on the border between Tuscany and Umbria off the upper Tiber valley. Seen from a distance it appears to be suspended in the woods and from it is a lovely view into the valley below. Set on its own high on the mountainside in oak and chestnut woodlands, the property is an excellent base for visiting Assisi , Citta di Castello, Cortona, Gubbio, Lake Trasimeno, Montone, Perugia, Sansepolcro and other lovely towns and villages. Airports serving the property are Perugia, Bologna, Pisa, Rome and Ancona. There are rail connections via Terontola (near Cortona) and Trestina (about 8 miles from property).
