Being part of the beautiful town of Bansko, White Peak Lodge is actually situated on the mountainside, with easy access to one of the best skiing areas on the Balkans. The hot, new complex with architecture resembling the traditional style of the old town comprises of five separate buildings, superbly designed to offer you a vast range of facilities, modern comforts and stunning views to the mountain tops. The development is close to the new road which is soon to be built and the second Gondola station. It is very close to the old town and is only 5-7 minutes walking distance from the already existing Gondola station.

Bansko has an excellent snow record with great skiing at 2600 metres extending through to mid-May. But winter fun doesn't end at downhill skiing and snowboarding, there's a fantastic mountain fun park, a town centre open-air Ice Rink, ten pin bowling, casinos and aprés-ski to die for!!! Around 100 Mehanas (local tavernas with superb service and atmosphere) and several night clubs open until dawn. The 11th International Jazz Festival takes place in Bansko between August 8th and 13th 2008. For this week, Bansko lives to the rhythm of jazz. This year marks the 11 anniversary of the event and local people and guests of the town will enjoy the musical talent of some 200 musicians from dozens of different countries that for these 5 days turn Bansko into the musical capital of Europe.
