A delightful, traditional village house set in the heart of the old town just a step away from the shops and restaurants. The house has two Juliet balconies and a secluded patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is a separate, bright sitting room with a balcony offering stunning views of mount Canigou and the streets of the old town spiralling up to the 12Th century tower. On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen-dining room and a separate utility area with an additional sink and washing machine. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed (and balcony) and two with twin beds (the largest also has a third mattress for an extra guest). All the bedrooms are fully furnished with wardrobes and chests of drawers. There are two well appointed shower rooms with toilets, washbasins and heated towel rails. The house, renovated this year, offers bright, comfortable holiday accommodation..

The house is in an historic village offering a choice restaurants and bars, plus a feu de bois pizza takeaway, bakers, a small supermarket (a larger Champion is just a short drive away),a fruit and vegetable market (on Wednesdays) and an excellent tourist office. Within a few minutes’ walk are beautiful mountain trails and natural rock 'swimming pools' in spectacular gorges. Miles of sandy beaches are 15 minutes drive away in Argeles-sur-Mer, which also boasts a lively port, Aqua Park, crazy golf & a bustling town centre. The charming town of Collioure (favoured by Picasso) has beaches, a fort and numerous restaurants to offer, as well as a myriad of cobbled streets with appealing shops to explore. Within an hour's drive there are spectacular mountain forts and picturesque towns to visit. The nearest ski resorts are only about an hour's drive away. Stunning Barcelona is 90 minutes drive and Andorra offers an interesting day out. There are local buses to Argeles and other locations.
