Enjoyable condo with good location

We were very happy with this condo; although the porch does face the street, it is very spacious and we loved waking-up every morning to hang-out before we started our day. The pool is FANTASTIC and has beautiful views from it ... it's especially nice if you have children. Our children enjoyed the unit - especially the bunk bed in one of the rooms.

One of the best upsides to the condo is its location to a beautiful beach with the clearest water we've ever seen.

Also, the owners were very nice to work with during the process of renting the condo, as well as once we arrived we emailed with them for suggestions on grocery stores, etc).

Just returned from a short break at the apartment and it really was first class - the weather was fantastic for the time of year and the apartment was home from home. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Very convenient for strolling down to the restaurants at the Port - would love to return during the summer months to make use of the fab pool!

Disappointing

We had a very disappointing stay. The apartment was situated next to a very busy road junction, making it impossible to relax on the terrace because of the constant grind of traffic just beyond the hedge. Sleeping with the windows open was impossible. The furniture and bed were functional but certainly not luxurious as described in the advert. Don't stay here if you want a peaceful holiday.
Owner's Response: The lady that wrote this review had the unfortunate experience of 5 days of thunderstorms whilst in Majorca which of course influenced her negative review. The noise outside was from remedial works taking place on the pavement, as this is off season works like this are beyond our control and there was nothing we could have done - the works are completed now. The apartment is located at the Port (as described in the advert!) As with any small town, village or port there would be a certain element of noise from traffic but every year from June through to August we have back to back repeat bookings thus being the noise must be at an acceptable level for those with young children, families, couples etc to enjoy their holidays and return every year. We had requested as with all our bookings that the clients contact us directly with any problems at all and this lady choose not to contact us at all until she wrote her negative review. The pool area is one of the most tranquil & peaceful havens from all the apartment complexes in and around the Port area.
This lady obviously had not researched the area at all and obviously would have preferred a more rural location.

Great Holiday!!

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday in Majorca. We have been to the island many times. But this was our first time renting an apartment in Portals Nous. We had a great week, the aptment was spacious and located just on the way to the port. It had a huge private terrace great for eating outside. And was secure so great for our 2 year old daughter. The pool and grounds were really nice, and never very busy. We are already looking foward to going back next year.

This was a fantastic apartment in which we stayed in this year. The pool was just amazing.
It is in a prime location on the hill walking down to the port.
The apartment is suitable for families, couples etc.
We hope to return again in the near future.
