Located right on the edge of the town centre, 10 minutes walk from the Ski lift, 1 minute walk to the Ski Bus, overlooking the Aravis valley. Chalet Etoile is a comfortable and stylish 2-bedroom apartment, with 2 spacious doubles/twins and an open plan living room/dining area leading onto two balconies that make the most of the morning sunshine and views of the Aravis chain and up to Mont Blanc. Our full-sized bath will soak any aching muscles and the kingsize beds will support them ready for the slopes. Evening entertainment is taken care of courtesy of our selection of books, board games, and DVD s to accompany to Flat screen TV, DVD player, Wii console and Stereo system. This is the perfect place for you to relax, unwind, and enjoy a great Ski Holiday.

Beautiful St Gervais Les Bains is a picturesque spa town on the West side of the Mont Blanc Massif between Chamonix and Megève. The drawing power of these two big name resorts means that we have stayed free of the mass-market English tour ops and hold onto a genuine feeling of a French mountain town. Home to Europe's highest mountain -Mt Blanc- and a popular holiday destination for over a hundred years, the village is steeped in history and the lovely baroque church is the central point of the village. There are a full range of shops, supermarkets, bars, potteries, art galleries and restaurants and a weekly market when the village's main square becomes a hive of activity. One of the biggest draws of St Gervais is the Mont Blanc Tramway, built in 1907 to climb all the way to the summit of Mont Blanc, this historical ride is one of the last rack and pinion railways left in France. Saint Gervais is also home of one of the best Thermal Spa's in France 'Les Thermes' located in Le Fayet.

Notes: Located in a quiet cul-de-sac with private covered parking space and plenty of additional spaces. We have a lift in the block, with our apartment located one floor up. A very quiet building normally, only on peak weeks will there be many people around, givig you real peace and quiet. Though the bars are merely a few minutes walk away if you want to danc ethe night away.

We stayed in this airy warm comfortable light apartment in the holidays, and thought it was excellent. We'd been to St Gervais in the summer before and loved it, and were keen to find out what it was like in winter. It was everything we hoped for, and the apartment was very well equipped, nicely furished, with super comfortable beds (even for my tall frame), and good and wide too.
the bath was perfectafter a nice long days skiing. It was nice enough weather for us to spend some time out on the balconies, which had cool views of mountains in two directions, and towards the town centre. We really liked the fact that it was such a short level walk to the centre, which is as delightful a place in Winter as it is in the summer.
