Great Apartment in Central London

My family (wife, 3 daughters, sister, and niece) stayed in this beautiful apartment for 3 nights in mid July 2009. We thought it was fantastic! The apt is ideally located on a quiet charming street in the heart of Westminster and is in close walking distance to many of London's major attractions. Westminster Abbey, Parliament, Big Ben (which you can hear with the windows open), London Eye, River Thames are all just a few minutes walk away.
Victoria Station, Trafalgar Square and multiple major theaters are also within easy walking distance. In the morning we enjoyed jogging past Buckingham Palace to Green Park and Kensington Gardens.
The spacious apartment was immaculate and comfortably furnished with large couches, large screen tv and dvd in the large living room. The rooms and walls were beautifully decorated with artwork the owners have collected from around the world. The owners, Sally and Matthew, greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour of the apartment and made sure we knew where everything was and how to operate appliances. They immediately made us feel comfortable in their London home and left us listings and maps of their favorite local restaurants, shops, and other points of interest. When we had a slight problem with the security system, they returned our calls immediately and made absolutely certain everything was resolved to our satisfaction. They couldn't have been more accomodating.
We stayed 3 nights, but wished we could've stayed longer in this wonderful London location. I recommend this apartment for any large, or small, family or gathering looking for a relaxed and comfortable place to stay in the heart of London. We look forward to returning someday.
