Situated 5Km east of the world heritage city of Bath in Batheaston village. Ideal retreat for couple or young family. Situated just outside Bath in a conservation area and within 100m of the River Avon, the 1890 property belies the stunning contemporary interior. Compact but perfectly formed, the space has been designed with great care and sociable living in mind. Everything you could need in a clean, simple package. The living area combines lounge, dining and kitchen in one seamless space. Access is to the rear of the property via a lovely courtyard, part decked, part gravelled with imaginatively planted borders and parking for 1 vehicle. There is a BBQ and patio furniture with parasol for those lazy summer days.

Batheaston village is just 5km from Bath city centre running alongside the river Avon. There are lovely walks along the Kennet and Avon canal, which will take you directly into Bath. You can hire a rowing boat or punt and float leisurely along the river.

Notes: The apartment has underfloor heating and is finished with polished porcelain tiles throughout giving a comfortable environment all year round. The living area has a contemporary chaise lounge, Freeview Plasma TV, DVD Player and an iPod docking station. To one corner there is a black glass topped table with stainless steel legs and seating for four. All the lighting is dimmable and the dining lights can be pulled down over the table to create the perfect ambiance. The sharp white kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, double oven, 5 ring hob and extractor hood. All the utensils, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery you could need. There is also a utility room with iron and ironing board, small freezer, washing machine and separate tumble dryer. The exterior courtyard is a real sun trap and has the advantage of some fantastic views of the surrounding country side, a great place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine and a barbecue.

An absolutely lovely apartment, just like the photographs. No detail in the flat has been overlooked and it provides a great home from home, just nicer. It's ideally placed for Bath city centre, we walked in to the city in around 30 minutes, and the bus and taxi into Bath were easy and cheap. Ideal for a relaxing holiday, but good nightlife was never too far away. I'd recommend this to anyone, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definately come again.
