Villa Libellule, built in the 1920s as Belle Époque style, with magnificent stucco-ornamented ceilings, high wall panelling, oak parquet floors, an ornate fireplace and wide glass insert doors. Situated in the centre of the old part of Menton, only 100 meters from the beach, the promenade and the pedestrian street. The villa has 5 comfortable bedrooms (4 large double beds and 2 single beds), sleeps maximum 12 persons. Main level: fully equipped kitchen with small dining area in the classic rural Provence style, dining room (sits 10 persons), living room. Upper level: 2 bedrooms, spacious lounge and 1 shower room with WC. Ground level: 2 bedrooms, shower room with WC and a large office room with 2 fully equipped work stations with computer, flat screens and printer. All furniture is of high quality and design, large lounge sofas, everything in state-of-art-Hi-Fi, gaming and IT. All rooms have their own distinctive character. Air-conditioning, loudspeaker system. Menton, nicknamed the Perl of France, is located on the Mediterranean Sea at the Franco-Italian border, just across from the Liguran town of Ventimiglia. It boasts a warm micro-climate favourable to lemon, tangerine, and orange groves whence one of the town's symbols, the lemon. The Lemon Festival takes place every February. Menton is famous for its gardens, including the Jardin Serre de la Madone, the Jardin botanique exotique de Menton ('Le Val Rahmeh'), the Fontana Rosa, and the Maria Serena garden.
