Our waterfall lodge is located in the middle of a forest and hiking area above Kufstein and has a unique view of the city and fortress. It was renovated with love in 2002 and has the best furnishings. The stunning view of the impressive fortress is always a special experience. A modern electric stove, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, 2 bedrooms, living room, 1 salon, 1 living room, bath/WC. From the living room you can get directly to the spacious balcony that surrounds the house. The stunning garden (furnished with garden furniture) is located directly in front of the house and is a special place to regain strength, grill or to simply enjoy the Tirol alpine air. The driveway reaches almost to the lodge during the summer. However, you must walk the last 100 m. During the winter, the entrance can be reached through a small path, about 8 minutes. A highlight is our own small waterfall where you can refresh during the summer.

Kufstein is dominated by a famous fortress that takes over the landscape and is the symbol of the historic old city. The fortress and the museum of local history, along with the Heldenorgel - the largest open organ in the world - are found here. The Heldenorgel is played daily at 12:00, also at 18:00 during the summer. Visit the glass blowing shop Riedel or see Kufstein from another perspective - from the inside of a ship where you can go on a 2 hour trip towards Bavaria. From open-air concerts to theatre productions - everything is offered.

Die Lage der Hütte und der dortige Ausblick entschädigen für den etwas beschwerlichen Weg zur Hütte hinauf.
Da sich die Hütte im Naturschutzgebiet befindet, kann man mit dem PKW nicht ganz bis vor die Tür fahren. Bei An- und Abreise wird man aber von den Vermietern freundlicherweise mit allem Gepäck bis kurz vor die Hütte gebracht. Vor Ort ist alles notwendige incl. einiger Annehmlichkeiten (z.B. Geschirrspüler, Gartenmöbel incl. Grill usw) vorhanden.
In der Umgebung kann man sehr schöne Ausflüge unternehmen (Sessellift auf den Wilden Kaiser und von dort aus Wandern gehen, Wattens: Swarowski Kristallwelten und man ist nicht all zu weit von München entfernt).
Die Hütte ist ordentlich und sauber von der Vermieterin hergerichtet und man fühlt sich gleich heimisch.
In der näheren Umgebung gibt es mehrer Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen (2 Supermärkte, Bekleidungsgeschäfte, Tankstelle, Inntalcenter usw) und in Kufstein selbst gute Gaststätten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist hierbei das Batzenhäusel oder das Auracher Löchel (beides mit traditioneller Tiroler Küche)
Hinfahren lohnt sich für Leute, die gerne die Natur genießen, absolut mal ihre Ruhe haben wollen oder auch gerne Wandern möchten.
