Set back from the road by a winding driveway, the house is hidden amongst trees on the top of a hill. Spectacular views from every window. The heart of the house is the kitchen with open plan dining area with a huge dining table that seats 14 comfortably. 4 large double bedrooms en-suite, 3 adjoining dressing rooms, open plan kitchen and dining area, study, living room with gas fireplace, loft with two full bathrooms sleeps 6 people in comfort, large barn converted with seating area, dining area and 2nd kitchen that open onto North and West terraces leading out to a large pool with uninterrupted views of the Pyrenees mountain range. Perfect for entertaining. This house is fully equipped,all mod cons and underfloor heating throughout. Laundry room, outside storage shed, landscaped garden. Shopping and meals can be organised and the house is fully serviced.

You are entering Cathar country, steeped in history. The house is 35min from Toulouse airport, 45min from the centre of Toulouse. Supermarkets,fresh produce shops in all the local villages.Known as the'Paris'of the south this city houses the largest fresh produce market in France-a must see! Full of wonderful restaurants and shops, not to mention theatre, opera and ballet for those craving culture. A visit to the amazing Medieval city of Carcassonne-the oldest in France or travel to Foix,famous for its markets, antique shops and interior design.The town of Mirapoix has a great open air market and a fabulous church with one of the widest naves in Europe. Should you want to do duty free shopping take a breathtaking 2hr.drive to Andorra through the Pyrenean mountain range as famous for its skiing in the winter as its shopping. If you are a cyclist/walker this is the home of the Tour de France and many walks along the top of the mountain range. Montsegur close to Foix is worth a walk too!
