This delightful spacious detached period cottage, dating from Tudor times, is full of character - heavily beamed and with a wood burning stove in the main sitting room. There are two double bedrooms and one single, a modern well-fitted kitchen, three reception rooms and a charming cottage garden to the rear, with garden furniture. Fully centrally heated, very comfortable, and furnished to a high standard. Main bathroom and separate cloak room, utility room with washing and drying facilities.

Etchinghill is 2 miles from the Channel Tunnel linking the UK to the Continent, and 9 miles from the Port of Dover. The historic city of Canterbury is a 25 minute drive away, with its world famous Cathedral and wealth of shops. Days out could include London (1 hr from Ashford), the White Cliffs of Dover and its Castle, the historic Cinque Ports and the beautiful countryside of Kent. Water sports such as kite/ windsurfing and fishing can be enjoyed at many of the local beaches. There is a pay & play golf course in the village, and many lovely local pubs. Two major Zoo parks, Port Lympne and Howletts make fascinating visits for all ages. Day trips to France are easy and make a great day out. The famous Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Light Railway runs from nearby Hythe to Dungeness.
