This brand-new luxury 2-bedroom townhouse is located on the Domusiberica resort in Praia Luz, which is in a hilltop position offering magnificent ocean views. The resort is small (consisting of only 30 townhouses) and secure and benefits from having no cars above ground (private garages are all below ground - with direct access from garage level into the townhouse itself). This means that it is a very safe resort for children. The townhouse has air-conditioning throughout. The master bedroom has a double bed and opens out onto a sunny balcony with views over the resort and towards the ocean. The second bedroom has twin beds. The lounge is furnished to a very high standard, and opens out onto a sunny terrace that overlooks the pool area. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge freezer.

Praia da Luz beach is around 15 minutes walk from the resort and has clean golden sands. It is a Blue Flag beach and has a playground for children, and straw sun shades and sun beds can be hired during the season. Beach Bars and delightful restaurants along the promenade make it a truly idyllic setting. Meia Praia beach (Lagos) is a 5-kilometer beach approximately 10 minutes drive away with beach bars and golden sands The town of Lagos is a 10-minute drive and has a beautiful Marina with lots to offer, including dolphin watching, boat trips to the grottoes, boat hire and deep sea fishing, as well as a selection of restaurants overlooking the Marina. The town of Lagos is fascinating , with hundreds of shops, restaurants, art shops, and so on. Local activities include: diving, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, mountain biking, paragliding.

We had a great week here. The house is beautifully furnished overlooking the pool and gardens. It's lovely to sit on your terrace with a view of the sea in the distance. Being up the hill from the resort also means you get a refreshing breeze which makes the heat much more bearable! We managed without a car, walking to Luz everyday and getting the local bus to Lagos. My only slight reservation was the uphill walk back from Luz which someone older or less mobile might find a bit of a struggle although most people seem to rent cars.
