The LivingApple is a family business, situated in a sunny position in the Gaeta Gulf, among Rome and Naples, near the old city-centre of Minturno (ca. 700 mts). Furthermore LivingApple is not situated on the main road. It is very close to the most charming spots of Gaeta Gulf. LivingApple is a convenient point for walking (along the beach or in the mountains), biking and shopping. The bus stops are 1000 m away. Scauri is only 1,2 km away and here you can find everything that you will need; pharmacy, travel agency, supermarket, bank, post office and restaurants. The railway station (Minturno-Scauri) is 1,5 km away. Delicious italy!

We are a family of 4 adults and we stayed in Delicious for one week in June 2010. For our first week in italy, we wanted to visit Rome, the Vatican, Pompei, Amalfi Coast and swim in the sea. All of that was possible by staying in Scauri-Minturno! The access to Rome by train is really easy, and the distance to pompei-naple-amalfi is reasonnable by car. And after a day of visiting, we had the opportunity to have a great moment relaxing on the balcony, looking at the sun going down in the mountains. Priceless. Delicious is very clean, Maria and Luca are very nice and available to answer our questions. They gave us many infos about what to do in Scauri and near Scauri. We had a very nice stay and we keep the address for a future trip in italy!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Nice place!

The description was accurate in terms of the flat. It was not quite accurate in terms of the surroundings. Some newer buildings were not shown on the pictures on the website.
Property: it was perfectly clean and in a perfect condition.
Customer service by the owner: not the slightest reason to complain about. Very nice people.
Recommend to a friend: yes we would! Although we would advise our friends about barking dogs at night and "le zanzare". With the wind coming from the sea it becomes quite noisy (traffic and train).
Activities, attractions: A good idea would be to have a little shop closer to the building. (fruit/panini etc.) Maybe one of those little cars could come along in the morning so that the guests can get some fresh bread (but this idea might be a very typical German one. American people might probably not need this.
One topic we did not understand: The downstairs door was locked during the day. If there was an emergency case, people were stuck in the building. Our daughter realized a spectacle case down in the parking lot (we had lost it). From the balcony she waved at us to prevent us from driving over it. Then she rushed down the stairs and was finally blocked by the locked door. So she could not prevent us from driving over the case. Well in this case it was just the spectacles that were damaged. But what would happen, if there was an accident or something else in one of the flats of the building?

But all things considered we were comfortable at your place.

Owner's Response: Below response to some sentences I'm not agree with some of your comments, I really think that are not real.
C: It was not quite accurate in terms of the surroundings
R: the property is situated in the countryside, and the noises of the country could be unknown to people that have always lived in the city.

C: Some newer buildings were not shown on the pictures on the website
R: there are no new buildings in the LivingApple area, the owner can attach only 12 pictures of the area.

R: AS ABOVE MENTIONED, bad interpretation of the sounds of the country

R: Even if there were the car that bring fruit door to door, we will not allow it to enter in our residence. Your idea is not suitable to the places.

C: One topic we did not understand: The downstairs door was locked during the day.
R: I have not understood well what has happened, but, anyway, every guest is endowed with all the necessary keys.
To close the downstairs door is a safety matter!

We had a fine stay at this apartment and enjoyed the holidays there very much. The view from the terrace was magnificent and the owner helped us with useful advices of places to be visited. The description of the property was corresponding to the reality very well.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: A very delicious family, in the full respect of the places had left the apartment cleaning and ordering. It's been a pleasure to know them and will be a pleasure to host them again in our apartment.
