Winter and skiing: “Champex is just a stones throw from some of the best ski resorts in the Alps” Verbier is approx, a 30 minute drive away, or to beat the morning lift queue we recommended the bubble lift from La Chable 20 mins drive. The 4 Vallées is Switzerland’s largest lift-linked ski area and one of the world’s biggest, with 400km (250 miles) of trails and a tremendous vertical of 2509m (8239 feet). It is sometimes possible to ski down to Le Châble down in the valley if snow conditions are good. The other linked resorts are Bruson, Nendaz, Savolyes, Thyon 2000, La Tzoumaz and Veysonnaz. Le 4 Vallées sont la plus grande région de ski de la Suisse et un du monde le plus grand, avec 400kms de pistes et un vertical de 2509m (l'ascenseur de fond à La Chable est trajet de moins de 30 minutes du Chalet). Aussi dans trajet de 30 minutes sont les plus petits recours plus silencieux de La Foully, Bruson, Liddes et lSuper St-Bernard. Chamonix est seulement 90 minutes

Summer : In summer the well-marked network of walking and hiking routes allow one to enjoy the local wildlife, fauna and the delightful scenery of the Swiss mountain countryside. Champex is on the Tour de Mont Blanc route. From the chalet three glaciers can be reached, with two refuges from the top of the chair lift., one within a 2 hour walk, the other a 4 hour walk, both serve food. Le printemps,l’été et l’automne: En été les trajets marchant et faisants de la randonnée bien marqués permettent à un d'apprécier la faune locale et le paysage superbe de la campagne Suisse. Champeux est est sur le Mont Blanc au trajet Zermatt et sur le trajet Mont Blanc. 3 glaciers peuvent être atteints du chalet, avec deux refuges dans une promenade de 4 à 6 heure du haut du télésiège du village.
